This is the biggest reason I argue stupid posts. Stupid because you'd let a few early pics determine if its a yay or nay item. Pictures are very very tricky, every camera looks different, low end suck, high end are better, etc, etc.

There are many great photographers here (yourself included) so I usually just wait to see the real deal before _____ing. Hell even then I still don't. I'm just not a _____.

Had you considered the possibility that the poster is wrong? What kind of monsters would be if we let him go through life thinking wrong things?

What is really cruel how some of the post lambast him to the point that it is cruel and on ill intent. I am not saying his right or wrong ! I am just simply pointing out that it is unecesary to go to the lengths that some of the posts to ridicule him!!

I believe we need to get a grip and not over whelm such threads with relentess posts on how wrong he maybe !!!

People should also think about the threads they are starting. Having a rant thread about company we are all fans of because the OP feels Sideshow doesn't have enough items on sale (after they just gave away thousands of dollars worth of merchandise) was probably not the wisest thing. This person was just setting themselves up for attacks.

There are tactful ways to go about saying things - such as "I hope Sideshow has some good sales for Black Friday" or "I really would love to pick up a few new pieces, I hope they have some good sales over the holidays..."

I'll confess, I've fell into that trap myself. I've acted like an ass here before about it. I can be quite a critical ass that I'm trying to change. However, now knowing what I do now from the likes of Agen, OMG, Jay, MaulFan etc over the years... I always try to approach it with an open mind now.

Although, the most impressive product photos I've seen lately that really flatters the figures if not as good as some on this board, has been the Demon and Scarecrow photos.

I could have sworn they've gotten new equipment.

These are really nice photos that make you want it.

There's also been some really nice products from Sideshow and their photos I've wanted for statues but the monster import tax fees stops me from buying but I don't hold a grudge.

It's nothing to do with "wright or wrong". He posted to tell SSC he will stop buying from them if they don't start putting more stuff on sale. Oh, I'm sure they are really worried about losing business from someone who has bought FIVE products from them (All, expect HUGE discounts forthcoming).

Firstly he's a DOUCHE for making such a stupid, hollow, and pointless claim. Secondly I've bought well over a hundred products from SSC over the years. If I suddenly quit it would make no difference to their sales (case in point, my annoyance of them dropping the 50% off international shipping - I didn't make threats to quit); so this this bargain basement shopper surely won't be missed.
