Monet did show up, he is awesome.
The eye is stuck at the mo, I'll have to keep working it.

they are cool figures. one of the eyes on mine was stuck as well. it was easier to move it if i rotated it in one direction instead of just trying to thumb the eye where i wanted it.

I actually didn't know the eyes moved. :monkey3

yeah, i don't think it's like a free-movement type thing but they rotate all the way around in the socket. or at least that's all i can get the one i have opened at the moment to do.

will skip the TQ drop. no real interest in them atm.

If we're talking Armstrongs then the eye/face has full freedom of movement in it's socket. It's a lot easier to move on the 1/6 scale version.

Deak, I forgot to mention yesterday in our Fighting JC posts that there is another one coming. This was posted in last week's 3AVOX newsletter.

Some people on the 3A forum think he might be a zomb JC.

The really early stuff from the first year or so seems almost impossible to get now.
Very true, but fortunately for the latecomers many other cool items have been produced since. But yes, nothing compares to the OG TK's, Oya's, Zombs & de Plumes. But you can't really tell, until you hold them in hand. :)
Really looking forward to receiving some of the recycled items which I bought last week from Bamba store :)
Tell me about it! They should be underway already! Hope customs don't hold them for too long.

The Zombkin set is my first Bambaland purchase, so it'll be awhile before that ships.

Plenty of 3A goodness to buy between now and then, though.

And here's my damage for the first month of collecting 3A. :google

WWRp Armstrongs - Floyd, Gerry, JDF EMGY, Monet and Suicide Club
WWRp Berties - Dirty Deeds Unforgiving

AP - Hatchery Guard TK
WWRp Slaughterhouse Dropcloth

On order:
AK - Tommy Red, Penumbra (waitlisted), Shadow 2 and Zombkin set
AP - Zombs
WWRp Berties - Deep Power MK3
WWRp Heavy Brambles - African, Cydonia, Deimos, Euro, Gravedigger, Iron Panda, JEA Marine and NG

Zombkin is my 2nd 3A purchase, but I now have a Slim Red Dropcloth, Gerry & MOD 7 Armstrongs, and Badbot. With two wwrp Brambles on order. I need to pick up a Popbot and a JC...badly. A Bertie with mini gun would be cool too. I'm really enjoying the artistry/quality of the figures themselves.

Who's going after Lolli tonight?
Speaking of kidrobot, I have got to get on that board soon, need a few figures i either can't find, or cost too damn much on ebay.
I did land a Tracky JC on ebay about 2 weeks ago for $150. Felt kind of high, but I'm glad to have him. just wish I could get an original Boiler Zomb. That's doubly irritating because before i even knew what 3A was, I almost ordered a BZ because I thought they looked cool.

I'm still thinking about ordering HT Luke, but lately I'm a bit turned off by Hot Toys. their prices are becoming thoroughly absurd, and you have to be *so* careful with them- pose them, put them in a display case, and leave them alone. I'm also bothered by how often they use rubber parts in their figures- those things aren't going to last as long as they should for what you pay for them. I feel much more secure with 3A purchases, Hell, I can drop them on the floor and not worry so damn much. it's funny- the 3A body and the Ht body are very similar, but it seems like 3A uses a much more durable plastic. HT bodies fall apart if you look at them wrong. My Hellboy has stood protected in a display cube his whole life, and yet his leg still fell apart at the knee one day when I picked him up to move him.
