lol I have no idea what you guys are talking about. We can accept criticism but this is not criticism.

Ash has accomplished more than you ever have Bamboota and is running an extremely succesful toy company together with the owner of threezero, Kim Fung Wong, which they are doing for fun, and it's not making any money might I add, and it has been around for less than 2 years.

And our Board is no different than this one. It has sections and threads, big deal.

1. You don't know me...so you don't even know my accomplishments.
2. I never said I was better then him.
3. As a customer, his ways annoy me.
4. What do u define as criticism? I gave my critic on the Badbot, didn't I ? Sorry if it wasn't a 5 paragraph review buddy.

Telling him to get his ____ together says a lot to me. And I doubt you are an award winning comicbook artist with your own toy company, just sayin'.

Also saying that that figure looked like it was spraypainted is not criticism, it's an insult.

But hey, whatever floats your boat. Ash told me not to give in to ____ like this so I'm done discussing this.

Get his ____ together in the way he runs his company n00b....
I've always had a problem on how he runs things, making thing cryptic, not showing the whole product, only showing sketches of what the product might be, his "trust me" marketing strategy. Thats not how u run a legit business IMO. People buy his stuff becuz its art and it's awesome....but he makes it hard to obtain with his exclusivity and lack of info.

And me saying that it looks spray painted is not a ____ing insult....it's an observation.

How would a fanboy like you prefer me to rephrase the comment?

C'mon peeps, everyone expresses themselves differently and that is not always read in the same manner by everyone on a Forum.
Please don't be so harsh (and somewhat judgemental about someone you don't know) or make statements about other members in this thread.

That board is awful; formatting, the layout and there is no real news sources but Ash, barely getting any legible words onto his post.

But heck, at least the toys rock - that's what matters most.

kinda disappointed in you on prejudging people and personal attacks on something that wasn't even directed at you

Ash needs no one to defend him cause he's an adult and comfortable on how he wants to do his thing

And I am absolutely nonthewiser... :gah:

No, that's not true, but cheeze are the people behind this stuff being as deliberatly obtuse as they possibly can be?
Seems they are trying very hard to be cool and leftfield... and it seems to be working!

there is alot of info out there but its a mix of books, forum, blogs and even additional story info on and in figure boxes which does add a nice touch to the back story.

but you're right it takes alot to keep up with it........and understanding the stories does help with navigating the forum. and yep people to get wrapped up and carrie daway with it every now and again...I know I have in the past, mind i can also get carried away with hot toys products :yess:

Now we know that Orange Badbot we saw was Day one Popbot from 3AA 2pack.

A bit of info from Ashley Wood:

Not digging Day One Popbot at all. Badbot or dirty Popbot for me I suppose...if I decide to get one...but my will power is weak. :lol

Just read through a lot of this and Spawnfan, you need to chill. No one was attacking you. You are not Ashley Wood or his company. People can still like his toys even though they may dislike his business strategy. Nowhere does it say that in order to buy his toys you have to agree with and like EVERYTHING he does and if not you are out of the exclusive toy buying club. I agree with a lot of what was said by bamboota...I love threea toys. They are incredible!....That being said his business model is damn frustrating. Trying to break that cryptic code, poor english, and ambiguous info is damn tough if your not right on top of that board every hour of every day. So why then do many of the 3a followers insist upon bowing down to whatever 3a does and label it as pure genius when we all know there could be better ways of approaching the information given out? Bamboota was just projecting his criticism of the company.

Do you think Hot Toys would be as successful as they are if they just said, "F___ it!! We'll do things our way and if you don't like them then f___ you!" "You'll get this headsculpt, paint and like it!"?? NO. They listen to what many of the fans suggestions are and try to make the customer happy with as much feedback as possible.

Now I'm not saying that the stuff he makes is bad. It's not. Much of it is brilliant and beautiful. I just don't feel the need to take every last word out of his mouth and every last thing he does as canon. The guy is not a god. He just makes cool art and cool toys. Let's leave it at that.

ps. If you think he make NO money on this company and that he does it just for us fans... :cuckoo:
