I'm sure this has been brought up before in this thread. But what THE HELL has happened to cartoons? Theories? Ideas? conspiracies?

The kids today and for a long time now have NOTHING.

My daughter has had to have me bring in the good stuff because there's nothing out there to stimulate her imagination.

(she's getting into thundercats at 10 years old 80's thundercats)

I don't really know what's going on, but it everything seems to be on a decline in America culture. Music, movies, TV, imagination in general.

I've been rewatching some M.A.S.K. episodes, and boy was that a horrible cartoon. Even for 80's toy commercial cartoons, the plots and characters are as one-dimensional as it gets. Theme song still rocks though.

From 81 through the 80s getting up Saturday morning and go surfing and recording cartoons, then get home and watch them. During the week getting home going surfing come home and watch cartoon, I miss those days so much. I stopped watching movies an tv ten years ago just garbage now.
