Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

The webshooters are another continuity issue. Maybe Parkers organic webshooters got messed up and he had to create some. :lol

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

if its not a reboot, wouldn't have been easier just to start off where the 3rd left off? New villains could still easily be introduced, and the symbiote could still exist, so there could be a possibility for Venom to come back (with a different actor) or for Carnage to make an eventual appearance.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Not to mention they set up Kurt Konnors over three films, making him Lizard in this one would have been perfect. It could have even tied in to that bit of symbiote he had.

I personally don't think it takes place in the same universe of the first 3 films. Most likely they're politely trying not to ____ all over Raimi's legacy.

I imagine if it's successful we'll see Green Goblin in the sequel. And we should. The on-screen death of Gwen Stacey could be an iconic moment.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

This is definatly a remake. The hollywood execs just know that everyone hates that word and is trying to avoid the negative stigma attached to it by using another one.

Oh man that would be BADASS to see on the big screen!

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Save that for the last in the trilogy. At least I'm guessing it will be a trilogy. Three seems to be the magic number for movies these days.
