Dr. Sonnet Ehlers has invented Rape-axe, a female device with jagged hooks that latch onto a man's _____ during penetration.

The doctor is distributing 30,000 of these condoms in South Africa during this year's World Cup.

South Africa has one of the highest rape rates in the world, according to Human Rights Watch. It is also believed that 16 percent of the population is living with HIV.

"It hurts," Ehlers told CNN. "He cannot pee and walk when it's on. If he tries to remove it, it will clasp even tighter."

Rape-axe is inserted like a tampon and when embedded to a man the device can only be removed by a doctor.


Listen, there's nothing more I hate than rapists so if these things work I'm all for them. Except not only should they only be removable by a doctor, they also should only be removable with the _____.

I heard of this the other day. Initially, it seems like a good idea, but how do you think the guy is going to respond when this happens to him? He's probably gonna go after the woman who did it. Possibly better to just distribute hand guns to those women.

I guess the real point is to provide a deterrent to rape. I hope it works.

A great invention, but at the same time; the crime could turn quickly into attempted murder, but I think if men rapists knew that a large % of women had these things or thought they did, it might decrease the amount of attempted rapes.The only thing is, that it has to be removed by a doctor, so lets say, the rapist ends up killing the victim; he would have to go to the hospital to have it removed, leading to his capture.

Nevermind the rape part, as if that is bad enough..the biggest problem is the Aids being spread over there, if i were a woman living over there,i would wear this thing proudly.

Why would it have to be removed by a doctor? Im pretty sure someone could eventually figure out how to remove one of those things by themselves.
