In this one side won out
This broody emo sh**, it belongs to us now...

That figure says it all.....
And still got the ridiculous emo panda eyes.
I think it's more frighting than his Batman identity.
They got it backwards.
Holy crap! Good thing I'd just finished my last mouthful of morning tea before reading that.He looks like a lesbian leaving the gym after a long workout.
Woops! fixed now - glad you liked the post! That spoiler didn't work too well But love the post.
Depends what part of Batman you like -- the Detective type or the Cruel Shadow Punisher type
Might've been from the last trailer I am actively avoiding, but I seen a couple screen shots of a bullet ricocheting off his cowl. First trailer he was getting blown away from a van. Second trailer he is taking 2 magazines to the chest no problem. WTF?
WTF?
He's a vampire.
Agreed on most counts, but a lot of superheroes complete the power fantasy with bombshell girlfriends. Mary Jane, Selina Kyle, maybe not so much Lois but I've seen her drawn as quite the babe ... Elektra, pretty sure Stark has a way with the ladies ...This place can be so silly…
EMO? Every Batman has he eyes blacked out, every single one. The lazy directors just never show him taking off his cowl as Batman. He has always been an angry boy/teen/adult. He has always been emo….he spends most of his days in cave , alone, plotting and planning how to beat up criminals…..hes the ultimate emo, and dare I say Incel as he pretty much never touches a woman….
All these superheros are like that….Superman is the ultimate prudish virgin on the face of the planet.
Loner boyscouts all of them……Are there any superheros who are great with the ladies and truly a “mans” man? LOL , Nope , cause all of then were written for nerdy boys.
Ill give you Stark, but he was also portrayed as an drunken arrogant ass alot of the time. His film characterization was nothing like his comic book one.Agreed on most counts, but a lot of superheroes complete the power fantasy with bombshell girlfriends. Yeah, this I'm familiar with although I wasn't much of an Iron Comic fan.Ill give you Stark, but he was also portrayed as an drunken arrogant ass alot of the time. His film characterization was nothing like his comic book one.
I remember them being a thing for much of my childhood, but that may be coming from the serialized comic in the newspaper.Peter and MJ only really became a romantic item late in the comics and I suspect it was to draw in more female readers….
I sometimes wonder if MJ is the reason I've always had a thing for redheads.Agreed, as far as I can remember Parker always had a thing going with MJ. At first he wasn't really into her, because of Gwen Stacy, but after her death they got together pretty quickly.

They weren't lazy, they are (to match the source material) by design making a clear hard visual distinction between the mask he puts on which needs the "effect" of all black to the whites of his eyes. The lazy directors just never show him ...
You have a real problem with the damn dark circles around his face. It’s not even that big of a deal . Dude blacks his eyes out. So what. And it does make more sense to show black face paint rather then just do away with it as soon as he takes off the mask. That’s lazy. Realistically after taking off a large coke like that your hair would be a mess and the black paint would be smeared .\

And his human face which caries no physical trace of the "mask", cause when it's off it's an expressed character driven transition. That's how you do it.
This tortured emo visual that needs everyone to see and know his feelings and suffering by way of his lingering choice of eyeliner mascara, is what's lazy.
Especially if hes wandering in public with it, dripping down his face in the rain. It's a pathetic visual take, that does not match the character in the source, no mater how much you insist it does.
If you like the stupid forlorn raccoon visual fine, say so , but don't pretend it's from the source material.
