The Beginning of my NEW Collection Room

Basement is 1550 sq ft of finished space. They are supposed to get the texturing and painting done this week. So hopefully I'll have pre-carpet pictures this weekend.

Mine will be 1290 but its unfinished so I have a lot of work ahead.

I went ahead and had mine finished since it cost less than $100 per sq ft to have it fully finished with carpet and a full bath....not to mention electrical outlets every 6 feet, 20 canned lights and 2 satellite drops.

I like it, built from the ground up, your way, minimal windows, lot's of wall space and nice areas to use them as theme areas. Bravo!

You can't wait? I've been waiting since February when we decided we wanted to build, lol. And yes, plenty of sealant was used on both sides of the walls.

Yeah the wife and I both like the open floor plans. And I don't have to worry about the inlaws dropping in: they live in Korea, lol.

I'm seriously dreading moving all of this stuff. But the payoff will be setting up brand new displays for all of it.
