The Best and Worst Video Game to Film Adaptations

Nope. Just not a good movie.

It was, at best, fanservice.

the film more or less falls apart into Michael Bay-Esque Violence orgy from the point where cloud goes to the place where Aeris was laid to rest, t the end of the film.

No real story, no real explanations, just FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT SPLOSION FIGHT SPLOSION SEPHEROTH.

Bleah.

which is a real shame, becuase everything before that was pretty good.

and does an ok job of fitting into the game mythos. takes place before all the games, dosn't contradict anything we already know.

There never was a Hive, it's in a parallel universe. And the Spencer Mansion wasn't a entrance to anything aside from the Lab Beneath it. The story is a cluster****, it can't mesh with the game story at all.

All the stories in a nutshell, Alice is stupid.

Walhberg is terrible, even with a different actor it would of been horse **** anyway.

Yeah that horrible recreation of the Sheva and Chris vs Wesker fight scene gave me douche chills. All of them are bad, they're just different degrees of bad. RE5 is the worst thus far.

Yup. It could have been an amazing film, with a 1/2way decent story that made some semblence of sense.

Instead, we get act 1 and act 2 of Star wars, with Act 3 replaced by the avengers trailer.
