Me too (already bought ban extra SSC Bib) but I think I'm just getting the single Fett figure and using a 3D printed throne. The HT throne is just too small.

While the OT has some bad creature designs (primarily in ROTJ) for whatever reason, the quality/creativity/coolness factor of new SW creature designs rapidly declined with the PT, then dropped further with the ST and then leveled off a bit with RO and Mando (which have a few creature designs that are on-par with some of the better OT designs) and to a lesser degree Solo.

It shows you how good the designers were on the OT - McQ, Johnston, Nilo, Cobb, Tippett, Walas etc - versus those who came later, despite massive improvements in technology and budgets across the board.

This is such a good point. There is an overabundance of design work now from everyone with an artstation account, and so much in the sci-fi/cyberpunk genre looks exactly the same. Not even good deritive stuff either - they’re copying generic stuff instead of the masters.

It’s really incredible when you think of how iconic a lot of the SW designs are, that these guys created characters that weren’t over-designed like nearly everything today, yet have managed to be instantly identifiable and have the longevity they’ve had.

I know it's far too early to judge based on about 30 seconds of choppy footage, but I still like his outfit from Mando s2 eps 7 and 8 better.

Hasbro is giving us a 6 inch Desert Fester version...looks OK. SHF is giving us the clean armor in 6 inch...looks absolutely amazing but it IS a prototype, after all. Still need dirty armor over fat robes in 6 inch before the deluge of all new looks and minor changes from the new show!
