Continuity error.....??
When first seeing the armorer, she has her tools held across the chest.
Then, she doesn't have them.
Then, to forge the spear, she opens a crate, and get the tools out of it.
Could be tho thought she put her tools on the floor when she got up. But then again I have multiple tools including hammers so for me that wouldn't seem off.

I'd rather Grogu's arc be over and I hope he doesn't return. Hopefully that story line has played out.

I would much prefer Mando's story from here on out to be his own instead of being a nanny & body guard for the dumb little kid.

There's no way Disney is getting rid of their little green cash cow.

I really liked this episode. First half especially, last half with the ship got a little boring. Still, better told than anything Boba's been in.

I think I figured out what Disney is doing. As they told us in TLJ: burn the past down. Disney wants to eliminate Boba Fett as the cool Mando-wearing bounty hunter and supplant him with their own creation, Din Djarin. 10 years from now, this will all be more clear. Disney's Star Wars is to be new imitations of Lucas' creations -- make the old look foolish.

I might be in the minority but I love the dynamic with Grogu and hope it continues...

They made it pretty clear that it's going to continue, they made him a little seat in the droid port that will make it easy to see his smiling little face as Mando zooms across the galaxy in his new hot rod. I definitely like him and wanted to see them reunited eventually but this is a little quicker than I had in mind. I thought Mando would do the whole fight for King of Mandalore thing in season three mostly alone.

Yeah but depending - IMO a fully trained Grogu who can now speak English more or less isn't that interesting vs. the toddler Grogo who babbled and stole cookies and every now and then would heal and stand against a fireball.
Hopefully the character is handled carefully and won't be another Yoda.

It's working, at least with Mando, because so far, Mando >>>>Boba. I think if you ask any young SW fan who they like more, most will say Mando.

Mando season 1 & 2 + ep 5 >>>>>> ESB Boba, ROTJ Boba, and BoBF.

Even Boba's greatest moments and scenes have all taken place in the Mando show.

Personally, I still think Boba has the cooler armor and helmet. Maybe Disney will paint Mando green or something.

They should have kept him a villain in line with ESB and killed him off for good in an epic fight with Dinny.

It was. Hadn't read chapter titles and at first thought it was Black Krrsantan.

Another thing I like is Din D'jarin being a practical guy; he uses the sword instead of carrying it around like some priceless antique. But he's not dying to be king of anything; more concerned about Grogu. 👏👍

I sure hope the Mandalorian series winds up with the two of them back on the road again, leaving the royalty stuff to Bo-Katan or whoever. "A simple man, making his way through the universe". That's after hooking up with Cobb Vanth, riding a Mythosaur, and wreaking havoc with the Darksaber.😁
Well said. 🙌👌

What?!?! You're not hankering for a deluxe Mayor's Majordomo or a Vespa gang 2-pack?

I kid, I kid. Neither am I.

And as for the wookiee...you know if HT does produce a figure, it's going to hit the $500 mark easy. Don't like him that much.

I'm surprised how little potential there is for new HT figures in this series. So far even after the Mando episode it's still just the Wookiee.
Guess Paz could get a sneaky re-release. Add in the shield maybe. Think you can count on him being in Mando S3.

If the rumors are true, the next episode might change that with the names we've heard.

Speaking of rumors, so much for those Boba flashbacks to his prime bounty hunting days. :monkey2

I would be pretty surprised if they re-release Paz. It was already somewhat surprising they made him in the first place. HT seems to be in over their head as it is trying to keep up without having to reissue every figure that a few crybabies on Facebook complain that they don't have. I do assume there will be more demand for him and the Armorer now. I can live without the holo-shield.

I slightly missed out at relelase and had to pay the tax. Just how it goes. I think HT only re-released Vader, Fett and Stormtroopers.

So...I'm not sure what I just watched.

Once the (pleasant) shock of watching Din show up and wreck shop abated, I noticed that this episode of The Mandalorian is in fact the most Mandalorian episode ever; it reflects the entire two previous seasons within one episode in the sense that we have beautiful production design, cool fight choreo and economical writing, mixed in with cringe-worthy comedy and moments where the budget's spread too thin and comes off made-for-tv cheap.

Amy's character continues to be pulled straight from the Star Wars Holiday Special. Elements of fanatical Mando culture continue to defy all logic (guess you could argue that's what makes them fanatical) ... while sequences like the N1 test flight and The Night of a Thousand Tears are cinematic in scope and execution.

I'm a little tired of Din moping and mooning over his adopted green kid, it's crossing the line into sappy but I get why they're doing it.

Really enjoyed the N1 design in TPM and like Din's new ride, but obviously it's gotta be somewhat temporary ... at least it looks to be faster than the Razorcrest which may solve the toilet problem. Don't love the bubble turret ruining the ship's aggressive lines but hey, obvious thing is obvious.
Overall a lot to like in this episode but also mysterious as hell ... no idea why this was in BOBF.

Din is having a midlife crisis. He's the guy that comes back from the dealership with a flash sports car instead of the sensible people carrier he needs for work and family.

And this is a cool little ship. No doubt about it. But.... he cannot live on it. He has nowhere to store his stuff on it, stash weapons on it or sleep on it. As such, it seems like it would really be a hindrance. He'll have to be planet-based somewhere from now on. And that's a problem for someone who goes from job to job all over the Outer Rim..... Grogu will look cute in the astromech bubble though, and thats all Disney wants or cares about.

These New Republic X-Wing people can **** right off. There you are, cruisin in your new ride IN OUTER SPACE when here come these randos harshing your mellow like there's speed limits posted out there. Bish, we in outer space. Ain't no laws out here.
