Also no flashback scene with Bane as was widely being predicted. Guess the origin of the dent remains a mystery...

This shot instantly reminded me of one of the Jedi Knight PC games:

I'm sure there was a training level set among ruins in a location like this.

Probably Jedi Academy?

Wow!! I honestly thought this type of SW feeling would never happen for me again after TROS and the mess they made of Boba Fett's characterization for 4 straight episodes. But dammit, I'm 7 years old again right now. Holy crap!!!

I'm not gonna pretend that the dialogue was anything other than amateurishly mediocre, and even outright bad at times. And I'm not gonna pretend that the western tropes weren't played with the subtlety of dropping an elephant on a sheet of glass. But I just don't care. Filoni delivered what mattered most to me, and made the most out of what had just been a major Boba Fett letdown.

I have to let my fanboy side get carried away here for a minute since I want to relish this feeling. I see that spoiler tags are being ignored, but I'll use them anyway. I'm hoping this episode leads to...

Luke taking Grogu to Mando, discovering the Pykes trying to take over his home planet with their criminal spice trade, and then getting directly involved. Maybe even calling for New Republic reinforcements to get Han and Chewie in on the action.

And when it's over (in whichever show the battle finishes in, if not next week's finale), a Luke series *has to* be part of the plan going forward. This episode proved they're not holding back one bit with deepfake Luke being a key player.

An eventual crossover with Thrawn (holy crap!) as the big bad leading an Imperial faction against the good guys now with Luke (holy crap!!!) as a very real player in that scenario. And I don't think I'm getting ahead of myself here because it seems absolutely plausible.

What a great decision to render Boba so completely irrelevant in his own show for two weeks in a row! :lol I'll gladly allow myself to be a nostalgia whore with this one since Boba Fett was butchered in his own series anyway. This episode was like nostalgia crack! More please! :lol

there's something seriously wrong with this damn show when everything else besides the main conflict is interesting. this is boba fett's show.. cameos are okay, but whoever wrote and produce this should be ashamed. its like kathleen kennedy was in charge of the first 4 episodes and the next 2 were filoni and favaraeu's work.. they could easily summarize everything from the 4 episodes into like.... 2 episodes. everyone cares about everyone else besides the main character that its centered around. they just executed this really REALLY poorly, this is on par with "somehow palpatine returned". its a shame because i don't want the other projects to be bad like this show. this is a serious issue.

its like they made a deal "okay you get to produce the first 4 under my name, but the next 3 belongs to us untouched."

Yet again, the first minute is better than the entire first four episodes

Pure Raylan Givens, and those creaking vanes on the moisture vaporators reminded me of the beginning of Once Upon a Time in the West.
I was literally going to say the same thing about the creaking vanes, and you beat me to it, and it makes me so happy it wasn’t just me that noticed that.
I can’t believe I’m going to say something like this about one of my lifelong favorite characters of all time, but I honestly couldn’t care less about Boba Fett (at least what they’ve done to him, and that what we’re getting from now on). The last two episodes have just given me the Star Wars feels that I’ve been missing.
It’s just insane to me that the quality of this show has jumped up so hard. WTF happened in those first couple episodes? They honestly just needed to save the budget for the genuinely breathtaking Luke scenes?
I’m sorry I forgot who posted this first, but the idea of killing Boba off and giving space Raylan his armor seems so appealing to me right now.
I think there are going to be folks that say this is too fan service-y, but when it’s done well, like this was IMO, I don’t think fan service is an inherently bad thing. How is this even the same show we were watching three weeks ago anymore??? 😂😂😂

That Bane fella looks cool I must admit. I don't know what he's from originally as I've not been watching animated shows.
he is from.the clone wars and has a droid called TODO 360.
Some of the best TCW eps have them both in it.
He was even hired to steal babies strong in the Force for a certain someone.
If you get a chance,I highly recommend watching any and all eps with Cad in them.

Hmm yes i like that, Cobb getting the armour back, he has a very interesting, very Jeremy Bulloch like posture.
