Yeah, but not a very effective warning. Killing him leaves them in disarray without their leader, but only wounding him stirs them up and allows him to rally the troops. I'm happy that CV is likely alive, but it doesn't make much sense.
This perfectly follows the theme of the rest of the show. None of it makes any sense! :)

wonder if the rumors of (spoilers? maybe i guess)

Han Solo showing up are true. I wonder if they will have Leia too... I mean they wouldn't even do new scenes for the last film since Fisher's passing, but I am hoping they will still use her character for flashbacks. I wanna see the main three in that post ROTJ era to wash the taste of them from the Rey trilogy.

Plus we still gotta see this fool ride his baby Rancor right? :lol

How did we go from the first four episodes to these two amazing episodes?! What happened?!

By posting these 2 gifs before the show airs:

Although, I'm not sure they'll effectively work against Robert Rodriguez next week...

I see that a few people have speculated (or maybe fantasized?) about Luke showing up as well for the final showdown with the Pyke Syndicate. While I doubt that will happen, it would be funny to see Luke and Boba Fett fight side-by-side. "Sorry I shot you in the hand last time. It was just business, mate. No hard fee-" and Luke lops off his head with his lightsaber and declares "We stand a better chance of winning without Mr. Sarlacc Snack. OK, new plan......".

On a separate note - was I the only one who briefly thought the figure in the distance walking toward Mos Pelgos/Freetown (on its initial, out-of-focus appearance) might be our MIA Tusken Rasta Girl?

Wow that was fantastic!

Painting and customizing things, using creativity and artistic skills is a hobby.

Buying something from the internet and setting it on a shelf to look at is not really much of a hobby...it's collecting. My mom collects fancy plates with pretty flowers. She gets one and sets it on a shelf to look at..not a hobby. My aunt makes pottery, thats a hobby.

Oh no! Did they even show him this episode? I was looking and I didn't think I saw him.

I totally forgot about the tusken warrior, that would've been a while ago in the timeline right?

My thoughts on the ep are in the Mandalorian thread^

As far as Boba Fett, again as with the last, it appears the less we see (and hear) of him the better.
While that is in part due to Morriosn, the character is just better silent and helmeted.
But right now the setup for the Cad Bane showdown, is carrying his story.
And all I can say is he better wear his helmet for that!

The dreaded return of the Mod Squad? :lol
Again I've come to terms that this part of Tat. is a little more modern, with the Casino there, has a new influx of people, money and and culture from off world, that trickles down into the sub culture. Hence the Mods.

For better or worse, that is his team:
A depressed Rancor, Fennec, Chocolate Kroissant, The Mod Squad, a healed Cob Vanth (who really needs some armor as per this suggestion), and a depressed Mandalorian.

Looking forward to the outages finally. :wink1:
Great minds think alike....I beat you to it!

Everyone will need to post them to stand a chance against RR. :panic:
They're already setting us up for disappointment with the Vespa bunch being the most significant representation of Boba's "muscle". You know they're going to be on those stupid mopeds again. Boba will ride the Rancor in, Din will pilot his Naboo starfighter, Cad Bane will have some sort of stand-off with Cobb, Boba or both, Black Kristen will hopefully do something cool and Bossk will show up, Rancor will die, Danny T. will go all Maleki (sp?) and be sad and Fennec will save the day. We'll get the "Boba Fett will return in Mandalorian Season 3" threat and cut to credits... OOF.

Yes probably, but to be honest this show's been so all-over-the place with its pacing and storytelling I really don't know. It could have been last year or 3 days ago lol...
It is pretty typical of this show's writing to give us an awesome character and then just ghost them for the remainder of the series. "here, get really attached and interested in this character that we don't show dead and never bring back. Enjoy!"

Yes, for a second there I thought it was her and (a) CV would take her to the other Tuskens and (b) she'd be the linchpin for both they & the Mos Pelgos people joining the fight. Not that I was in any way disappointed that we got a Cad Bane appearance (& when I saw the hat clearly I remembered the episode title & said to myself "Well duh, of course" lol) but was hoping for a bit more cohesiveness in the narrative thread. Silly me. :slap

Cobb should be the one with his own show.

I knew when he was on Conan last year with the beard back it was while he was shooting this.
Cobb Vanth/Pykes/Jawas are about the only part of this episode I liked.

Not an Ahsoka fan anyway; but IMO there was absolutely no reason for her to be there. None :pfft: . Except for Filoni reminding everyone about her show, since not everyone has seen CW or Rebels.

I like Dawson's physicality; but IMO she just doesn't have the presence of the Armorer, say, or the Client to be all-knowing and mysterious.

Usually I would have been happy to see Mando and Grogu, but this just felt kinda pedestrian. Way too much Luke; and rehash. It just didn't work for me. Plus I sort of had the feeling of whiplash, tho maybe it's supposed to feel like a lot of time has passed since Luke picked up Grogu. First it's really important that Grogu be trained; for the Child's survival if nothing else. But then Grogu still seems childlike but he's getting a big choice dropped in front of him? So assuming he's a fail at the Jedi thing, supposedly he's trained up enough now to leave Luke anyway?

But, whatever, the point is he goes back to Mando, all is well *shrug*:drink. I'd have much rather seen Mando and Luke have a conversation etc. Did like the environment and the droids. This just felt like Filoni, tho he is slowly getting better.
For me this is sort of a filler Mando episode, so S3 Mando can kick off with Grogu in tow, and amusingly destroy stuff with the Force now:monkey3. Also both father and son have had to face a struggle between 2 different worlds so that's a theme. I hope their reunion is handled better - they need to call Bryce Dallas H. back.

Meanwhile, feel for Boba fans, since this has gotten ridiculous; might as well call it Mando Season 3 early release.:google:dunno

Yeah pretty much. Looks like I was right in Filoni getting his clones involved. :lol I don't think the rumors said Vanth was returning. Not sure if Rex or another clone will be in the next episode or Bossk, but you think they would have been introduced in this episode with the big payoff for the next.
