Yep!So he could go after Grogu?

You should watch it. Do a shot everytime something stupid happens, you'll be drunk in no time and you might end up enjoying it.I am giving serious thought to just not watching.
I probably WILL watch, but I'm still mulling it over meanwhile. They are going to do something [or several things] so unbearably stupid in that finale that I'm not sure I need this stress level in my entertainment.

A lot can happen in 9 years, he must be back in some way if Ahsoka is looking for him and the Magistrate knows where he is.I thought Thrawn was on some whaling adventure? How would he get out of that one?
Why did you say that twice?A lot can happen in 9 years, he must be back in some way if Ahsoka is looking for him and the Magistrate knows where he is.

Is that how he got the hat he's wearing now?In TCW he regularly did jobs for Palpatine and Dooku, including kidnapping Force-sensitive toddlers for them. He didn't kill needlessly but he never needed much of an excuse either. He once killed a fellow bounty hunter moments after meeting him simply because he wanted his hat.
I actually had forgotten about the rocket boots, which makes me sad because HT will make him without them if they make him from this scene.
Hoping he adds them to his arsenal in the finale.

That was like me in the early 90's finally watching ESB on laserdisc after years of pan & scan VHS. I had no idea that ever since the theaters I was almost literally seeing only half the movie at home. The whole universe seemed to open up, entire characters and starships suddenly appeared in scenes that I didn't even know were there, etc. It was literally like watching the movies for the first time all over again.
Yes, I think a lot of what people ascribe as the Jedi's hypocritical ***-backwards totally unnatural philosophies just come down to George's (really) poor execution of portraying those philosophies on screen, mostly due to crappy dialogue and head-scratching confusion over things like not letting Anakin free his mother since A. it would be a noble act in and of itself which the Jedi are supposedly committed to and B. just to free Anakin's mind from the lingering attachment, angst, concern, etc., of having her enslaved. It's not because the Jedi's teachings are absurd, no it was just George's writing, lol. Similar to a hundred other headscratchers in the prequels like Qui Gon and Obi-Wan inexplicably just not attending the Senate meeting where Padme is pleading for Republic intervention. Why the hell didn't they just accompany her and confirm that they witnessed the Trade Federation's invasion first-hand? Nobody knows, lol.
I can't change your mind after all these years about how the Jedi Order operates, but I'll just say that if these stories are going to have super-powered Jedi, I think they need to account for the inherent dangers. I think Lucas thought that through in an excellent way, but it's not something that comes across as intuitively as he might've expected.
The type of power and influence that Jedi wield (including "mind tricks") necessitates that the Order would've had to establish certain doctrine and strict codes to ensure that Jedi remain enlightened peace keepers. If they were to have the same vulnerabilities and flawed emotional control as normal people, that'd be a major problem. You'd have a lot more Anakin situations, and the Order would've dissolved long before the prequel era.
I have a respect and reverence for the conceptual philosophies that Lucas constructed the Jedi and Jedi Order around. I just wish that the execution of those ideas had been better, because then there wouldn't be so much misunderstanding about Jedi among fans. But then again, I still see plenty of fan takes on ROTJ and Luke that are a complete departure from what Lucas has explicitly stated multiple times as the intent, so there's a certain amount of misinterpretation that would've been there regardless of even *abundant* clarity in execution.
And probably made more sense than the hideous movie (and that's saying something because those Marvel stories were pretty bizarre and out-there)!I found this for Khev, from 1979...

Were comics really .50 cents in 1979...???

I want to say both, but let’s be honest, I’d most likely pull a Barney Fife getting my “gun” out of the holster…I always get that movie confused with The Illusionist. I can never decide which one is my favorite. One has ScarJo's cleavage

...and the other has Jessica Biel's @ss.

And you guys think Grogu has a tough decision!
If you think defying the laws of physics is silly, then yes…Is that how he got the hat he's wearing now?
Rocket boots? That sounds kind of silly.
Yeah he doesn't look like he has them, (...yet)Cad needs to do some ..... jumping with those rocket boots. Too cool not to feature those.

Yes they are...If you think defying the laws of physics is silly, then yes…
That's expecting a lot from Rodriguez. 50 mins max I reckon. This finale had best be at least an hour long.
