That kitchen droid, what the actual hell, I'll never understand what was going through their minds.
''Boba Fett menacingly declaring his name to a kitchen rabbit droid'' was something like your description at the time.
Oh yeah!
It was like he'd been waiting his whole life to make that declaration and finally, in that moment, as he held the quivering and defenseless kitchen droid he thought "now is the time," lol.
Another thing that's funny about you referencing my old post was that there've been a good number of times that I've found myself chuckling at some comment or meme that you or jye or someone else posted and then I realize "whoa, that was like 7 years ago." Heck I still remember jokes we made about Terminator Genisys and that was 9 years ago!
It's a tough life being a star wars fan haha. These Disney plus shows for the most part are so goofy with poor to middling plots. So much opportunity wasted. Andor is the exception and the good parts of mando season 1 & 2 also slipped through the net.
Last night I was watching return of the jedi (the latest version on Disney plus ... gah) and I had boldly claimed to my wife (a normy non star wars fan) that despite everything this was my favourite movie (probably becauae it was the only one I had on VHS). My wife nods along and returns to her kindle. Sometime later the gawd awful max rebo band scene is in full swing. The kindle is lowered and my wife raises an eyebrow before kindle is raised back up to block the TV. That scene is really goofy and awful... but I think the vibe from that moment from return of the jedi was used as the standard that the whole of the book boba fett was modelled on.

Yeah, the disdain for the show is too much for me to ever give it a rewatch. I don’t care how much a fan edits this trash show

Yeah season 3 of The Mandalorian and Ahsoka might have been the last straw that made me quit Star Wars but this bloody show, this BoBF was the one that did the real damage. The ST was a blow but it was BoBF that did it.

I resumed a paid subscription the other night because this forum is my internet homepage - much more than anything else like Facebook or Instagram. And it has been since 2008, damn. So why not, if it's needed to keep it going per the recent admin posts.
Also I probably will resurrect my FS thread at some point.

It sucks that we (referring to a good 5-10 people here) can't ever connect in person to watch any of this stuff together that we're always chatting about.

That aspect ratio change in real time is freaking spectacular!
Yeah I no longer have D+ (Agatha yeah how about no) so Mando S1/S2 where a must own for me and I’ll probably bend the knee and purchase S3 hopefully at a reduced cost to match the reduced quality.
But S1/S2 were pure swashbuckling SW for me.
Andor is also worth owning.
I'll actually be picking up physical BOBF too.
