If you must keep them, box up your boxes into larger boxes, and throw them in the attic.

Point is MIB and MIMB, most collectors don't know or make the distinction, they think it means the same thing - never been out of the box. So you can list with a clean conscience and get the price bump ( boxed stuff sells better and gets more)

It would still be more fair to the buyer if you were to clarify that the figure was once displayed. Whenever I've bought things on ebay in the past that were listed as "MIB" I always assumed I was getting a brand new figure--and I always did.

I agree.

Anyways, I think the box adds value if I ever (probably not) decide to sell anything.

This is one reason I bought a house with a basement. But I'll have to admit I'm considering either selling or throwing away some of the boxes. At least for the stuff I know I won't ever sell.

I'm a big fan of keeping the boxes, as I periodically toss stuff I've lost interest on eBay to get rid of it. But I haven't had a space issue with it yet as it all goes into my attic.

I keep all my boxes just in case I ever have to repackage any of my stuff, but I'm rapidly running out of room. I'm going to have to get a storage unit to free up space so I can display more of my collection.

I have kept all my boxes mainly for transportation when I am eventually gonna move, I have the brown shipping boxes of some boxes too. I will probably never throw a box of a statue or 1/6th scale fig away.

Don't ever throw them out! They have many uses. Here's one.

Trust me, I just moved, you'll never, ever, put your figures back in those boxes.

Instead, you'll make two trips: one to take your figures over (you won't trust movers), and a second trip or more to transport all your boxes.

I just moved and packed up everything (PFs and figures) in their original boxes! But that's because the room for my collection won't be done for some time. Sadly, it's low on the priority list. :lol

After days of futzing, posing, etc, the last thing I want to do is squish the figure up and put it back in the box.

Back in box... back in box... what's that from? Back in bowl.

I'm just moving and I have a lot of my collection looking like this. But I keep most of the boxes, sometimes even the shipping boxes (for the Master Replicas/eFX, GG statues or Premium Formats), in the new house's attic.

How are you supposed to do that when each box has a styrofoam shell inside?

I put like 5 HT boxes to a large storage box. I didn't break them down, I just go them organized and out of my house and into the attic. They still take up space, but I don't have to look at them.
