If you've ever watched the show BANSHEE, he's great in that also.

God this was so good. Very impressed with the quality. I suppose they avoid big action set pieces and battles for money which is what I was worried about. But damn that doesn’t even matter the plot is focused way more on characters and themes than big popcorn action. It all turns out to be something really special. Can’t believe I have to wait however long for another season.

I enjoyed the hell out of this one. Fun, great casting, and well made. We've had lots of alternative takes on superheroes, going back at least to Mystery Men, but this may be the best attempt so far. The plane scene really stuck with me, and I like the fact that several of the super characters are a bit complex--
A-Train feeling genuine sympathy for his girlfriend, Queen Maeve being so conflicted during the plane incident, the audience being able to see the Deep's change from sexual predator to comically humiliated loser
The ending was totally unexpected, and sets up a very interesting season 2. I can't fully figure out Homelander, but he's got to be one of the most terrifying characters I've seen in a comic-related movie or TV show. I don't usually binge shows, but I couldn't stop watching this one.

They toned down some of the more extreme parts from the comic, but I'm digging it so far. More Karl Urban is always a good thing.

He's always a highlight of anything he's in now that you mention him. He made a great young Dr McCoy in the Abrams Star Treks. Shame the films themselves were crap.

I felt that he was criminally underused in those films. He was one of the best things about them.

Only Urban could make a Judge Dredd movie not be crap.

How ironic that he somehow ended up getting stuck playing one of the dumbest characters in the MCU, lol.

I was at a friend's house and saw an advertisement on TV for this.

They try to make it look like some kinda light hearted action/comedy.

Finally got around to this.

Holy crap did it live up to the hype Homelander is one scary dude with a dumb name.

I never read the source material was it written this well?

S2 will suck watch lol

Poor HBO Watchmen it will not be better than this no freaking way.

Karl Urban and Antony Starr... Got me interested right there on that pair alone.
