I'm new in the community. I introduce my first custom.
Captain America, new version, based on the art work of Alex ROSS.

I made 3 rights and 2 left hands, the third left hand is on the shield. The different hands are removable.
For the top of the costume, I sculpted it first then I molded it and casted it in a kind of soft resin. It's better to move the figure and this special part of the costume doesn't break. I found a great metallic blue paint very strong on this resin.

Great job on Captain America! Haven't seen this take on him before. Very clever way to make the top of the costume out of a flexible resin. Thanks for sharing!

Totally awesome.......How'd you make the the top half. I would love to use that effect for a 2/6 custom of Snake eyes from the Gi JOe movie.

About the head, if you look closer, I tried for the first time to make separate eyes, like some toys companies start to make. I recognize I could sculpt it differently. I'll do it for the next or if I cast this one. But it ain't easy to keep the holes for the eyes and find a good face.

You sculpted the head ? I thought you used a regular head but you add the mask. You should buy a head and sculpt the mask like I did for my Cap' :

Yes I completely sculpt the head. I tried with a regular head but it was hard to do the holes for the balls eyes. So I prefered to take my chance and sculpt an original one, even it ain't the best sculpt.
