Love today's Teefury shirt but I've never ordered from them before. How do their sizes run? I'm 6'1 and about 190...thinking a Large will do. Might have to measure a shirt that fits when I get home from work.

thanks

There sizes run pretty normal (I guess that is how you describe it).

I am about the same size as you and a large fits me perfectly. I got one of their XL and it was a tad too wide on me.

I just realized.....Teefurys shirt is kind of a fail in a way....
cuz it said "Clone to Kill" on a Stromtrooper helmet.....yet... Storm Troopers are not clones. Hmmmmmmmm

Am I missing something?

They had to start some way. It is a slight fail but it isn't a stretch.

I always thought they where regular Humans.....but yeah...the art is still cool....but I dunno....I'm tainted now. :lol

Stormtrooper started as clones but then the Emperor eventually opened up recruitment to non-clone humans. So in the traditional sense of a stormtrooper it could be seen as a fail but it really isn't.

Some of the Stormtroopers are the remnants of the Clone army. At least until Lucas goes back and replaces them with Conetroopers.

Stormtroopers were bad shots, so you know they weren't clones of Jango any more.

And then you have this.

"And these blast points...too accurate for Sandpeople. Only Imperial stormtroopers are so precise."

Won't be your last. Good luck with this addiction as it grows quickly. :slap
I'm not a Stormtrooper fan so this was an easy pass for me, but yesterday's Tron shirt got the better of me.

Haha nope, this thread sucked me in to teefury. Although this last month I have been pretty good, for a while it was a couple shirts a week for me.

I still have a back log of woot shirts I need to purchase though.

One could argue that the bad shots were the humans but the precise ones were the Clones left over. Further proving 30 years ago what Lucas just made up in the last couple. :lol

Karen Traviss covered this a bit in her Republic Commandos novels. Long story short, when Palpatine started making his big push towards the end of the war and Order 66, he set up a second cloning station run by non-Kaminoans (business competitors of them, actually). They began creading 3rd-generation Jango clones and greatly accelerating the process so it was about a year from "hatching" to having their training completed. Thus, most of the later clones actually were far inferior copies. The poor marksmanship was definitely referenced. Later on, the Emperor simply could not keep up the troop demand with just clones and expanded recruitment to regular humans.

I thought it was a good explanation considering how George insisted in shoe-horning the clones into the original trilogy with his comments about Jango and that one Death Star stormtrooper banging heir heads on doors being a genetic trait :cuckoo:

Oh man, I forgot about that. :lol

Because it's Karen Traviss, who is an awesome writer, I'll accept that theory. However most EU books suck ass. It's pretty bad when we have to rely on third parties to correct Lucas' senility.
