I could never understand WTF was so great about The Crow. I think I watched it once and never remembered it after that. Not a bad movie but nothing great.
Mary Shelly's Frankenstein novel is the epitome of Gothic Horror. Bram Stoker's Dracula novelization as well. The Crow, if at all related, is like the Arkansas, backwoods, inbred mutant cousin twice removed and then, only through marriage to his own grandmother. You need to look up horror, educate yourself on true gothic horror, kick yourself in the ass a few times, use a smelling salt or two, then come back and maybe we can continue if the mods have yet to move this thread where it belongs....
