Sorry for the poor composite in the first pict.
This figure was done before the prequels and I still like my unmasked Fett over Morrisons.

Cool Fetts!

I need to get some pics of mine & post them. This has turned into a cool thread!

Wow. I'm in awe guys. I know where I'm going to base my custom from.

OK...my turn! Being that Boba Fett is one of .... okay.....I admit it...my favorite Star Wars character... I knew I always wanted a nice one of my own. I mean Boba Fett was...just so cool! His killer outfit and armor and all of his great weapons and gear. Plus that secret identity under the helmet added to his cool mystique. I could never afford the Marmit one, or Sideshow's new 1/4 scale PF one (even though I still want it someday!). I decided to make my own custom Boba Fett from my old electronic Kenner BF Kay-Bee exclusive 12" figure. I got a Dragon body, and then just put the existing Kenner BF outfit on the Dragon body. I then had a Temura Morrison as Jango and/or Boba Fett custom head from a friend of mine I got a while back that I painted and mounted on the Dragon body. Last was the helmet. Okay, that ended up being a problem! My same friend who is a great caster, Mary Lacour (eBay user ID: mpl59 on eBay), also made me an unpainted Jango/Boba Fett helmet. But....it didn't fit over the custom Jango/Boba Fett head she made! Okay....then I decided to take off the Kenner BF head off of the original body, and cut it open on the bottom. Luckily that head is hollow on the inside! :D So I cut it close to the edges of the helmet on the inside, and was able to fit it safely over my custom head! Oh yeah! :D It worked! I was pleasantly suprised that it went over the head. It fits snugly, but not TOO tight where it damages the head, or takes off any paint when I put it on and take it off. I did put some matte coat spray on the head after painting it, and some gloss coat on his eyes. I still have some more detailing work to do on the gauntlets, and maybe on the helmet too. I used some pure silver acrylic paint to help to "weather" his armor and his rifle, and give it that "used" look he had on it all. I still have to superglue where his jetpack fits around his neck in the front. But overall I think...it rocks! I always preferred the Return Of The Jedi look for Boba Fett with the red gauntlets. Here's some pictures of it...Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Oh yeah. The white unpainted helmet you see on the figure stand between Boba's legs is the one Mary made for me that didn't fit over the head. I may still paint it someday just for fun. So what do you think? Let me know. Thanks! :D

One question guys. I still have the Kenner electronic Boba Fett body with the voice chip in it. It still works now almost 10 years after I got it. Is there a way I can install that into my Boba Fett's Dragon body? I don't want to get rid of it because it says cool BF phrases like:

"What if he doesn't survive?"

"Put Captain Solo in the cargo hold."

"He's worth a lot to me."

Just awesome. I also have the Hasbro 12" Deluxe Jango Fett that they made when Attack Of The Clones came out. I'll display father and son next to each other after I've moved into a house with much more room for me to display them. Stay tuned!

Time to revive an old thread. Here are some pictures of my custom Boba.
I used the Hasbro VOTC Fett for the base and switched out to a G3.5 BBi body. Lots of weathering to this guy. Fully repainted jetpack. Metal rangefinder antenna and metal hookups on the gauntlet hoses. Re-braided the wookie braids and cut to appropriate length. Scratch built neck seal and added the flamethrower attachment from the extra hand that came with Jango. Made two of these first ROTJ then ESB for a family member. Enjoy!

Wow, the Fett-man Commeth appearently. I realy like the repainted one in the second set of photos. I've allways been a big fan of that particular version of Fett,

Those are sweet Fetts. What parts came from the Hasbro fig for Boba?

All of these are awesome! I've been thinking of doing one for a while now... a few christmases ago I got a master replicas ESB Boba Fett blaster that's exactly 1/6 scale! But I have no boba to hold it...

Currently I'm working on making an episode 2 clone with only a body, a black body suit (a la Triad toys), some black gloved hands, and some mcdonalds platic cups and some super glue!(you may laugh, but I kid you not. Check the Starwars custom forums under the starwars section in collectibles and find my thread if you're interested). But I make templates to cut out of plastic from my Medi clone Commander figure, and I'm going to recast the helmet and paint it myself...

but after I'm done I might make a Boba fett, found some great websites with templates for boba costumes, could print em out in 1/6...

Here are a few recent shots of my custom ROTJ Fett-man. He's a little rough as I started on him almost 5 years ago.
