...Didn't they just use the same score for all three movies?

Short answer: No.

Slightly longer answer:
There's recurring themes and motifs but the score has evolved considerably throughout.

For example like a dog chasing cars in TDK is mostly new stuff for Batman, very different from anything in BB.

Why do we fall in TDKR is completely new as well.

Then theres the villain stuff.
TDK had a complete new suite of scores of Joker and Harvey, while TDKR had a ton of new stuff for Bane in particular, and also Selina.

Ok so how have they moved on then? You'll see a re-release of TDKR in January just like TDK.

Thing is TDK was more popular than TDKR it had joker and was also an iconic movie thanks to heath ledger. I dont see tdkr being nearly as popular as tdk was.

More popular where? And by what measure? Because if you're talking box office then in the UK TDKR has been a bigger hit.

In fact overall outside the US, TDKR is a bigger hit. So you need to take off your tinted glasses :lol

I just hope the Oscar campaign means an IMAX rerelease. I'd really like to catch it at least once.

A few Oscar ads doesn't mean it's at the top of their list. That's what folks are getting at. WB is focused on The Hobbit now and will be for a while and on top of that you're seeing Oscar ads for The Hobbit. Heck Middle-earth right now reigns supreme for them in general with a EE The Lord of the Rings marathon early next month. Basically Batman isn't their top priority.

BEST ORIGINAL SCORE - Hans Zimmer :lecture

Whether he gets the Oscar or not, no doubt it's the score of the year for me :clap

The score is ok. Its nothing special. Now, that doesn't stop it from being special to individuals but I've got most of the OS for films from this year with Batman being a solid entry.

This movie is playing in my cheap theater for one dollar.
I have not gone to see it not even once..

I saw spiderman 2 times and Avengers 4 times,

I will not go to see this movie in the theaters again not even for one dollar. :monkey1

Not to get too off-topic but could you give more details about this? The EE's are being released in theaters again next month?

I know Cinemark, Regal Theaters, and AMC on December 8th are going to show all three EE in the same day. Tickets are $25, you get a lanyard, some kind of collectible, and discounted concessions. There is more info in The Hobbit thread.
