I hate to be a buzz kill bc it seems like most of you really liked this movie, but I hated it. I loved batman begins, and I loved TDK even more. I'm just gonna go to sleep now and try to erase this movie from my memory.

apparently children are among the murdered movie goers. two gunmen threw smoke grenades/tear gas into the cinema after the trailers started. People fled out and were gunned down then a home made bomb exploded in the car park.

How sick is that? My only problem is..... some people could link it to TDK in some insane views which always appear; joker using the nade on the bank managers mouth, gunning people down carelessly.

=/

Is it bad that ive never read Knightfall by the way?

Not "bad" that you haven't read it, but I'd say it's definitely on the list of "required reading" for Batman fans. I know Nolan gets a lot of flack for straying too far from the universe of comics, but one especially blatant nod to the source material was...

...that Bane, literally breaks Batman over his knee like a twig. Besides surface details like the location and the costume designs of both characters, it is ripped straight from the comics panel. Nice touch.

Not a buzzkill at all. It would be more interesting to the discussion if you talked about what you didn't like about it though....but that seems unlikely since you're trying to erase it from your memory.

Just reading it now. Very sad, pointless loss of life. I hope this doesn't taint the film's release, that's what these lunatics want.

to be honest I really don't know where to begin. I love Noland, and before tonight I thought this man was incapable of making a bad movie. This movie to me just felt so forced, and I do realize that Noland was'nt completely for the idea of making it after Ledger's death. I hate to say it, but I think Ledger is turning a_s up in his grave right now.

yeah sorry for the long post. But out of all of the comics, Knightfall I have never read!

Have you read all of those issues? I ask because I remember at least a couple LOTDK issues were part of the Knightfall/Knightsquest/KnightsEnd storyline. Where they jumped from telling small self contained arcs in Batman's history or future that may or may not have happened....and right into the regular "main" comic storyline.

Watching CNN now.....holy ____! 10 dead 20 wonded.....more likely to die from injuried!!! WTF!!!!!!

There always has to be some lunatic around to do something crazy and put a downer on everything. I'm not even gonna try to guess what the idea of murdering people at the dark knight premiere was.

Anyway , I'm off to see this in an hour. Hoping it's as good as Begins and TDK. Looking forward to it. :clap

What about it was forced? Your just saying vague things and not giving constructive criticism. Also his name is Nolan.
