Just picked up my copy of Empire with the lovely Ms. Hathaway on the cover. :D

Yeah, Michaels has crazy frame sales, just last week they had 27x40 good frames for $8.00-$15.00!

Regarding the vinyl, I wasn't so much worried about the size as Alex has mentioned, it was if vinyl would look good under glass or plexiglass.

I've never found a custom shop that would make a frame that big. It's the size of the glass, but maybe they've updated the tech in the last few years.

You could still be right, I might be SOL if I go that route.

I might just stick to plain old boring 27x40, lets see said the bat man.

You should give it try, you never know. I don't think you really need a frame with vinyl.

If you want true 27X40 originals I know a few sellers that you could buy from.

Wife did not approve frameless vinyl, she said i'm not in high school anymore. :(

27x40 i'm all set with but thanks for the offer.

The BB original poster with Batman taking a leak is $130 on movieposter.com! :horror

Amazon has a replica/reprint for $17.00. :yess:

Yet BB Batman gliding down original on movieposters.com is only $20.00. :dunno

Yah, I got it from lforigno of BB custom cape fame :lol

Awesome indeed, I can't tell, but hopefully it's framed.

It is but the edges of the frame aren't on it otherwise the darn thing wrinkles like crazy. Part of me wants to just dry mount and frame the stupid thing. I don't care about the value. Wrinkly posters aren't as valuable either and LOOK bad. I never intend on selling it. Not sure if a custom framer could put it in a certain way to prevent wrinkling without dry mounting. Thoughts? :dunno

Also? We finished faculty meetings. No meetings Monday. That means I'm free to buy tickets immediately! :yess:

From somwhere on the lolnet:

Director Christopher Nolan reiterated today that The Dark Knight Rises is the end of the road for him and Batman.
The filmmaker attended the Producer’s Guild of America's annual Produced By Conference in Los Angeles where he was asked in front of an audience of his peers and press whether he would return to make a fourth Batman film. According to Variety, Nolan said with blunt simplicity, "No."
And while he always envisioned the Batman saga as a trilogy, he never intended on making sequels. "We never had a specific trajectory,” said Nolan about when he started down this road with Batman Begins. “I wanted to put everything into making one great film, I didn’t want to hold anything back." He also said that ultimately the Batman franchise "belongs to the audience."
Nolan also reaffirmed his allegiance to shooting on film in an industry increasingly going digital. He said digital is "devaluing what we do as filmmakers" and added that "I don’t want to be the R and D department. I don’t have any interest in the research into electronics. What interests me is to use the best technology and that is film."
The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20.
