It's possible, depending on your habits, you could go to movies and never see the trailer in the theater, if you avoid websites and watching online videos you could be free from any specifics. It all comes down to our will to avoid these things, it's not that they're unavoidable.

I meant, it would never happen that a film studio would market a major film with just one 1:30min teaser, and that's it.

True, though sometimes, the less marketing, the better the film, it seems like the ones most pushed tend to suck and it's like the studios knows and decides to bombard you with ads til you go to see it.
