Yep. Demented Are Go. Badass!!:chew

Well, while I do respect them as musicians, and as much as I love punk and psychobilly - they've always made me feel really uneasy. The guitarist and bassist played in Ian Stuart's, "Ian Stuart and the Klansmen" band. The singer for Demented Are Go has always said he had a problem with it, but I just have a hard time supporting them knowing that about their background.

For anyone who doesn't know who Ian Stuart is, he is/was the frontman and founder of the neo-nazi white-supremacist band Screwdriver.

I don't want to detract the thread, but in the event anyone here knew that info, I didn't want to come off looking like someone who may support that kind of junk. Know what I mean?

---And I agree, I want pics too!

Hey Adam, always made me uneasy too. I have a passionate loathing for all things Ian Stuart, especially people that listen to him as a 'joke.' There are funnier things out there, but Demented are a pretty rad band, and I'm glad to see the reference, I never knew that about their member.

Thing is whitout their caca lyrics,Skrewdriver had a great sound.Stuart's voice was great.Their Ballads, musically speaking were very passionate.

Figure looks awesome... was afraid the mohawk would be too much (not look real) but it all looks excellent together :rock

And notice the neck joint has some detail to it... lets hope thats not just for the proto, and they actually start using more realistic looking neck joints on the pro.

BTW, what is in his hand? Guts, or has his hand just been pulped?

Hey Guys :wave
I'm sorry to tell you that I did not take pics last night... but the figure is incredible. Really well done. I'm sure there'll be Con pics soon.
Most of us are still sleeping and hung-over!

:rock

Punk and metal is pretty much all I listen to so this will be my first Dead figure. I wasn't too interested before because I'd have to get multiple ones if I bought just one, but I'm going to have to dive in now. Looks like me when I was 16.

It is one of my favorite lines... Sideshow has cranked out some really great figures. I had to ignore the dumb variants, but now I'm looking forward to each new release :rock

I'm confused ... is this up for order tomorrow or the 31st? The preview shows 31st, but the drop-down on the right shows The Dead preorder for the 24th.

Good to hear! D.A.G. are a really great band (musically, at least, lol), and I am REALLY happy to see from the video (hearing them) and looking at the figure, that either Sideshow has some guys working for them who know a thing or two about punk rock, or they did some great research.

The braces and bullet belt are two things I was very impressed with seeing - not to mention the laces on the boots are laddered! Can anyone that is at SDCC tell us if he has anything on the back side? I'm wondering if he has a back patch on that vest.

Now someone help me out, is that a little compilation record, or a 'flyer' for a show at his feet?

--I'm really lookin' into buying on of those 1/6 guitars made by SD Toys, getting some vinyl sticker sheets, and printing off some tiny stickers to throw on the guitar, scratch and weather it up some, and add a bloodspatter.

I'm just holding off to see what the Ex. version has, I'm betting on a 40 oz bottle, or a guitar.

I did not realize from the video that he would have the spiked mohawk. Nice touch, and he will definitely stand out in the crowd.
