So what would you chaps want McClane to come with? Interchangeable clean, dirty and bloody vests, interchangeable normal and bloody feet seem pretty important.

Theres not even a license announcement, it's simply something they'd like to do. When we get Elias from Platoon, we can start thinking this is a possibility. Until then this is right up there with that Marty McFly announcement a few months back where everyone was sure they got BTTF.

Seb did the tatoo and forearm tally detailing a looooong time ago, but all the paint and weathering was actually done by SilentSurfer. Seb's recent McClane's look very similar because, apparently, he used SilentSurfer's work as a reference. Not sure if it was of his own will, or that of the customer's.

that is a sweet mcclane, marf, but i think any similarity to seb's is mostly down to the fact that that's the most obvious scene to go with (so design wise they'll look similar) and they both use erick's head which is the natural choice coz it's the best willis yet.

personally i'd never ask seb to use another artist's figure as reference. the man does his best work when unleashed to freely create his own art. like the wild customizing beast he is.

Seb actually said he used mine as a reference...and if you compare the two, they are almost exactly the same, cut-for-cut Which I thought was odd, because like you said, he thrives on his own creativity

I did use the ss one for the blood placing.
But i did the rest with my own touch like I always do.

And for what it's worth SS did use the body I weathered and even if he removed some of the weathering it is still here

Sadly there's a huge probability of HT doing the forthcoming Die Hard 5 if they even do one at all...

Maybe but they always start with the latest (worst?) movie in a franchise and work backwards towards the best one. I find it hard to conceive of them delving into the Die Hard franchise and not touching the classic original.

I have all the bits including the sculpt just need to get a good body cheap as the one I have is nasty.
I will eventually finnish this custom, IWILL!!!!!
I like elvis' one but also like this paint job on the sculpt aswell, gives him a more moody look.
Hot toys ,Pah I won't hold my breath waiting for them.

Well I finally got round to painting this sculpt and put it on the rubbish body I got for it.
I will invest in a better body and paint it up better to be more movie accurate.
I just lashed this up but I still think the sculpt is very good but definately has a humphrey bogart look about it.
