What did you use for the neck piece(collar) and the cloth parts of the shoulder armor?

I made the whole vest by hand. the neck piece is some wide strap material sewn to the same fabric as the rest of the vest and stuffed with cotton.

I would like to see this too! the shoulders should sit a bit nicer once i make the back piece. just waiting on the armor to get here.
