On episode 3 now, and this may be one of the best Sci-fi shows Syfy has ever done. Lightyears ahead of their other shows thus far. And it has a pretty amazing ensemble cast

Funny, I just finished watching the first 3 episodes and came looking for this thread this morning. No one had posted aside from the initial three posts. I figured no one watched it.

I'm enjoying it so far. I was expecting it to be a complete disaster.

I'll watch it if/when it becomes available on Netflix. I don't have cable. With what little time I have available for reading can't be spent on that nonsense. But I can easily watch it whilst doing other work that needs getting done.

Same here....took me an episode to get a proper handle on this show's world, but it strikes me as almost fully realized. Kinda blown away by the level of detail in every aspect of the show...

In exactly the same boat. Perhaps we are so surprised because of Syfy's questionable past. At least at this point (3 episodes) it's too good for Syfy.

Ep 4 was excellent I am happy to report. Fav new show this year for me....

Watched the first two episodes today and I am totally blown away. Best thing SyFy has broadcast in years, hell maybe since Battlestar Galactica. Everything here is damn near perfect--the world, the characters, the tech; all of it so well realized and done. SyFy has been the butt end of countless jokes from everyone of us for years now with all of their giant snake, crocodile and shark films along with all of the wrastling which made me tune out and not even turn on. Now with this network going back to the kinda of programming that's their namesake, hopefully they have turned the proverbial corner. I know after watching Childhood's End, I was pleasantly surprised with how good that was so maybe this series will be the next step in righting the ship.

It's on Tuesday. I found it odd that you and quadcent said episode 4 was good and it was only Sunday and episode 4 hadn't aired yet. I haven't watched it yet, but will today. Looking forward to it too, especially after the positives both of you gave it.

I was dreading watching this because it had syfy attached to it but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm really enjoying it so far. Took a couple episodes for me to sort out the characters and story like game of thrones did but it's not complicated at all now.

I loved the first three episodes but episode four was like a goddamn revelation--pure scifi awesomeness all around. Reminded me of the best parts of Mass Effect. Gotta say that this series has me comparing it to Babylon 5 in its scope and mystery. I need episode five right NOW!
