Just got back, Sly and boys nailed it this time...it was pure awesomeness! The action scenes were great, and all the guys played out their parts really well. JCVD was EXCELLENT as the villain. Too bad we didn't get to see more of Jet Li, his part with the frying pans were great though.

Best part of the movie for me:

When Arnie and Bruce drive around in airport shooting it up in the smart car with the doors ripped off haha. Their banter was amazing, too good!

I saw it with my dad and we both enjoyed it. Great movie and I loved the one-liners and inside jokes.

The only downside for me were the one-on-one fight scenes. They really underused JCVD and Adkins. Other then that, fun flick.

I still rate it slightly below the first though.

Really enjoyed the movie also, hoping for a third installment. Could have done without Hemsworth and the girl, thought those roles could have been replaced with some better options and really wanted to see more Van Damme, Let Li, Statham and Norris.

Hemsworth's death allowed for the movie's theme of revenge, and made Sly gutting JCVD so much more enjoyable. Plus, how can you not like his pissed off "track em, find em, kill em" line? :D

I understand the purpose for Hemsworth's character just thought there are a lot of other young guys in Hollywood that I would have rather seen in the role.

What was with all the CGI vehicles though? For a movie that boasted it was going old skool action, they couldn't find real choppers or even a tank to use?
I wouldn't have minded if it was well done but some of it was so bad looking it was distracting, my only gripe though.

Finally saw this today, loved it. Screw repainted Tumblers, I want one of the raid vehicles from the beginning in 1/6. :yess:

Loved after people blinking in and out that they finally all got together for the airport fight, but where was Jet Li? Did he have a scheduling conflict with this or something? What was the deal with him being gone 3/4 the movie?

that part was filmed first before production was moved to China for Li's scenes.

also shame on anyone here who downloads the leaked movie but I like what whoever filmed it did by taking out the final meal scene and Barney talking about dealing with death.

Just seen this tonight, really fun action movie to watch, it is a good time though I expected to see more arnie than I did.

Just got back from it. Great and fun movie but yeah I was hoping Arnie would be in it more than he was. The scene when they introduce Chuck Norris was great and had most of the audience laughing.

That scene was hilarious, with the wild wild west tune playing. And the "after 5 days of agonising pain - the cobra died" made me LOL

Would be kinda cool if Al Pacino got a part in any of these movies. He is 72,but guess what,so is Chuck Norris. He would have made a much better Church than Willis did, since they tried to make the Church character as threatening and scary as possible, but Willis weren't able to pull that off imo.
I can see the joke.Arnie introducing his old friend to the gang with "Say Hello to my little friend" or something.

Indeed. I also loved the banter between Lundgren, Crews and Couture when they were hiding out in the abandoned building. This movie had so many funny moments.

one of the best scenes .

That scene really did a fantastic job of showing off the chemistry these guys have and making them feel like a team.

I really have no complaints about this movie, it surprised the hell out of me and I have to say, short of maybe Moonrise Kingdom, this was my favorite movie this summer.
