Better than the 1st.

Needed alot more gore though and alot less talking.

Uncut extended DVD please.

WTF was that ugly girl doing in this movie, just horrible, as least make her a "bad guy" which is what they made her look like when first introduced, what a waste of valuable time her character was.

Why no karate from Chuck? Not even a little.

Most of the one liners were just horrible, takes you right out of the damn movie, not cute, not funny. :nono

Any line not said by Willis, Stallone, and Schwarzenegger sucked ass, for the most part. Outside of a few decent funny ones.

yeah it really was bad lines by Van Damme when he said whats this symbol I like symbol this is the symbol of the goat the pet of satan respect is everything without it we are just people common ****ty people

I saw this yesterday evening and actually enjoyed it a lot. I think Jean Claude Van Damme really stole the show.

Agreed. My favorite from the film for sure.

The Asian chick was not needed. Awful character.

These are terrible stats aren't they? Already at Week 4 and only nearing the US$80M mark?! :horror

Lionsgate/Millenium surely spent more on this movie, and it will suck really bad if they come to a decision not to do a third movie to cap off a Trilogy, because of significant financial loss. :thud:

That's just USA ticket sales, not worldwide. I think the budget was only $100 Million so getting over 80% of that back just in the USA is a good return. Sure they'd have loved $100+ Million back, but when you factor in the rest of the world, that figure probably is closer to $200 Million brought in if I had to bet. Doubling your money is never a bad thing. I'm sure a third will happen without a doubt.

And that doesn't even include BR/DVD sales, which are substantial on movies like this one.

I'm fairly confident there will be a third. Made enough money to make it worthwhile.

Where's Devil when you need him...:lol

This movie did pretty poor. It has to make it's budget to be a sucess.

But did anyone expect it too? This movie doesn't at all appeal to people under 30. Some yes, like me, but for the most part, your average 17 year old kid won't know who these people are for the most part. They probably know Arnold from that one movie where he fights the woman.

No way this did worse than Resident Evil and they just keep on making those movies so there will be a third for sure. Sequels are also based on DVD sales/rentals, Friday with Ice Cube did horrible in the theatres but sold insane amount on rentals and video/DVD sales which is why they made so many horrible movies after.

^ Uh, it did way worse then Resident Evil...because Resident Evil makes a ****load of money at the theater.

It did make back its budget.

17-year-old kids don't have any money. Its rated R. Can they even get in without their mom?

You're allowed to see R-Rated films at 17.

And yes they do. If they have jobs...most kids have jobs....

We've been down this road before. They'll probably make a sequel because it did well for what it was. But for the most part, it doesn't appeal to this generation. It's not flashy. It's not stylized. It's a classic 80's like film. Something kids today find silly and out of date.

It's ****ty, but at least they're still keeping that style going. It's refreshing compared to Resident Evil slo mo techno 3D silliness.

You might wanna look up the box office for the last RE movie and edit that post. :lol

No one at my school knows what Predator, Alien, or Terminator is...hell, most of them don't even know what Star Wars is.

Only Transformers and Twilight. :monkey4
