Personally the trailer was garbage ...no one in the theater said anything after...no whispers , no chatter......silence.

This movie was hilarious. I'd heard it was a dud in the theaters. so that made me want to see it more than anything else. I thought Ryan Gosling was a pretty big draw, particularly after the interest after his role as Ken.

Lots of fun stuff, I enjoyed all the foreshadowing/callbacks, there was nary a throwaway line. Seemed like a movie that had something for everyone ... romance, comedy, action, dogs biting dudes in the nards. What's not to like?

I'm just sore it got made before that even bigger Lee Majors classic...

I watched this last night, I thought it was good, just a bit unnecessarily long like so many films these days. I did fall asleep near the end but the only day of the week where I won't fall asleep watching a movie is probably Sunday because I'll have had a good lie-on that morning.

Gosling and Blunt are indeed a great duo and I enjoyed the soundtrack.

It was ok. Kinda felt like a Netflix movie. Gosling and Blunt made a good couple. Wanted to see more Stephanie Hsu once I recognised her from Everything Everywhere All At Once. Best bit was the replacement actor cameo at the end, oh and the expected cameos were nice too. I'm sure it will fade from my memory in the next day or two though.

The Fall Guy wasn't a staple for me as a kid, but I caught a few episodes here and there (Heather Thomas was :naughty). Based on my limited viewing of the promos for this it just seemed like a love story and in between they did stunts. Was Gosling a bounty hunter?

Not really. They changed that aspect slightly to him tracking down the missing star of the movie.

So, this could of been titled anything else with no connection to The Fall Guy? I know I wasn't interested in seeing this.
The Six Million Dollar Man, if done right, would be something that would pique my interest. Not with Wahlberg, however.

Well yes but it completely follows the stuntman making a movie which in some ways is the more important part. And the investigation isn’t completely removed from the show. It’s probably more authentic to the show than some other tv adaptations.

Six Million Dollar Man done right (ie go back to the Cyborg book) world be amazing but they will undoubtedly turn it into a stupid comedy that puts bums on seats.
