Looks very interesting, but there are a lot of similarities in the production design, I too hope the story is better than the Cell 'cause it sucked. This has more of a Pan's Labyrinth type feel to it.

I know... The Cell was great to look at, but had a nowhere story.

And it does look a little like Pan's Labyrinth with a little 300 thrown in. But I think this was filmed before or around the same time as both those movies.

Looks too freaky and colorful. I didn't enjoy the Cell much so I doubt I'll like this one. It's just something about the design that makes me nauseous.

This has more of a fairy tale feel to it, instead of the Cell's 'Inside the mind of a psycho' deal. I think this will be much more enjoyable for that reason.

Looks like a cross between the Princess Bride and the Cell.
But with more heart.

I enjoyed THE CELL immensely and I can't wait for this. I do fully admit that if it didn't look like that, the story just wouldn't wash. But the art direction, costume design by Eiko, Music by Howard Shore and the Master Musicians of Jajouka, it all adds up a movie I unapologetically love despite whatever shortcomings it has.

Back to THE FALL: Throw in all the brilliant elements of THE CELL with a real story and this could be a something really special.

I agree 100%.
It was a true original beauty.
And I actually enjoyed the wacky Sci-fi/serial-killer plot.
In lesser hands this coulda been just pretentious tosh.
