How does making cheap crap that looks like it should come free with happy meal "keep us on our toes"?

I wasn't referring to the quality, just the type of announcement. Just when you think you have them all figured out, they make an announcement like this that comes completely out of left field. I just meant that they are still unpredictable at times. Unless you saw this one coming? I sure didn't!

Wow! I didn't even notice! I never would have thought that one day, I would be making my 6000th post here--and in a thread about Fifth Element background character bobbleheads!!!

I have to echo this. Sideshow stands for high quality collectibles in my mind. I hate to see them associated with such Novelty Store dreck.

I really hope other people are smart enough to voice their oppinions about how utterly $hitty these are by not purchasing these.

Half the announcements have been bobble heads. ****ing bobble heads for Christ's sake!

They're branching out to other types of collectors. The bobble heads are enormously popular (so I've been told, never met anyone who liked them myself), and by offering stuff that's quick and easy to turn out and sells fairly cheaply, they can attract new collectors to their more detailed and expensive items.

i was just flipping through channels on the ol tv and i got to say it could be worse sideshow could be waisting money on say wrestling figures, or maybe something stupid like bobble heads.... oh wait nvm.

It's just extremely disapointing. They should've put a disclaimer when announcing the Fifth Element line

I love wrestling probably as much or more than anyone here, but I don't know if I'd go for any wrestler PF. I honestly doubt I'd go for any sports PF period. Just not something that's as visually captive as LOTR, SW, or comic characters.

I agree! The movie was good IMO... and I'd buy a few of the figures... And my future Wife is keeping her fingers crossed for something...anything of Paba Laguna...the diva. So I have to get her that if they make one.
