I hate the new big ES trend.

They made 9,500 of the Sideshow/Weta Sauron statue in 2004, so I don't really think this change is as recent as you think.

As I said, it's really nothing new.

Oh! You got me good. well played you smart funny man. I didn't know they made 9,500 Saurans in 2004. Guess the thread brought up something of value, to me at least. But either stay here and be an ass or quickly go find another thread on a topic that thorough and immediate discussion, as I'm sure you'll find so many on these forums. . I'm sure you're imput will be of great value to all.

Recently a lot of people have been complaining about large edition sizes.

Recently a lot of people complain about price increases too, but if you go back and look at reviews and forums about products five years ago, they had the exact same complaints saying how Hot Toys was insane for charging $150 for figures and what not. I'm sure edition size complaints have been everyone for a decade or more now.

It's not a trend, it's business. If they know they can make more money on a particular item by making more, and selling more, they will.
