Is that her happy, sad, and contemplative face, lol.

I think that was her face when her agent told her how much Nissan was going to pay her to do commercials. What was going through her head at the time: "Wait, someone wants ME in their car commercials and they're going to pay me an obscene amount of money? Quick, let's get that contract signed before they see my next movie!"

Or something to that effect lol...

I'm warming up to the Affleck batsuits, and that new batcycle is looking nice!
The cycle yes, the suit not so much. Maybe if Affleck (and by extension, his stuntman) was more fit/slim it wouldn't look so ungainly, but in that shot it looks like the tactical suit on steroids. Say what you want about the TDK suit design, but at least Bale didn't look like the Michelin Man when he was wearing it. What ever happened to the batsuit being all the armor Batman needed?

While guns and knives from multiple assailants are a real thing, a guy in a cape fighting crime is not, so I'm disappointed that we have yet to see an agile, elusive, stealthy and supreme combatant in Batman-on-film, relying on skill rather than armour.

I don't know when they started portraying Batman across different media as a 'roided out bruiser. Was it the TDKR graphic novel or prior to that?

I was late getting into the graphic novels (my son was the one who urged me to start reading them) so I'm not sure when that started, but like you I've always preferred a more ninja-like Bats.

Isn't that closer to the Battinson Bats?
He's not a meathead and he has the detective thing going on, but he's still wearing bulky body armour, walks through gunfire, and ominously stomps out of dark hallways in combat boots instead of flitting through the shadows taking people out via stealth and finely honed skills.

Like I said; guy-in-a-cape is already unrealistic so I'll buy Ninja-like abilities. I already buy a guy walking through gunfire -- as you know, I loved the The Batman -- but it can be better!

His entrance in TB is going to be hard to beat in any Batman movie going forward.

Yeah, I agree -- even more ninja stuff would be great.

I wonder if the ADD generation could accept that? I mean, the videogame without bang-bang is just boring to them.
You'd need truly amazing fight choreography. I'm thinking the Bourne Identity (first film) wherein it was fast, fluid and grounded, the camera didn't cut away constantly, and it was effective and impressive as hell.

If you can make it cool enough that kids hurt each other at recess trying to imitate it, you've done your job.

In other words the BvS Warehouse scene lol

It was one hell of an intro, yeah. But I'm picturing a Batman able to control the environment, choose his battleground and then take out would-be assailants like Predator. You wouldn't really see him at first, just watch guys getting picked off. Almost a horror vibe.
