Old people have weaker immune systems, I'm not surprised Lonnie was sick.

Watch it sonny!!! Why, back in my day, you'd never hear a youngster talk about his elders that way! Course, we had to walk 5 miles... in the snow... each way... just to get us a fancy statue like you kids just order up from that new fangled interthingy!!! :monkey5

I should post a picture of the used Kleenex mound by the side of my bed.

"My sinuses! The pills do nothing!!!"

That was one of the few bright spots for me. Only one nostril seemed to be affected, strange as it seems! My left side stayed pretty much open and breathable, while the right was runny, stuffy, closed, runny, stuffy, closed, repeat, repeat, repeat...

Tom - If you want to open up an air passage...Go outside or stand in the shower... plug one nosteral... and then blow until your eyes bleed.

I tried that, and after a great deal of straining I only managed to squirt out a Type 7 on the Bristol Stool Chart--and that was from the wrong orifice. Worst of all, I had gone outside rather than in the shower.

Yes! One night while trying to sleep, I kept hearing a very light whistle at the back of my throat! I tried clearing my throat, drinking some water, blowing my nose, but nothing seemed to make it stop! I'm just glad I finally drifted off to sleep! :rotfl

:lol :rotfl :lol Sure, I can laugh with you now ... you are feeling better, right? :) But really, I do hate that - it is hard to sleep.

Yeah, I've felt pretty much back to normal since about Monday... except for the right nostril still being completely closed!

Thanks for the well wishes Matt and Josh and everyone else!

You should see our office! It's like a hospital ward or something! The Flu is making it's way through our entire office in waves!
