Well I put a call in to that tattoo parlor...as soon as that artist has an opening I'm getting it done. Hopefully I will hear back today because I want this RIGHT NOW!!!

Good for you. Just make sure everything is exactly how you want it before committing to the ink. I think a crow is a fantastic idea. Reminds of dark beautiful things like Halloween.

My first and last tattoo where the same way....I was wrestling with different ideas/designs then when I figured out what and where it was like full steam ahead, do not look back.

Because crows have black eyes...I will probably keep them black especially since he is going to have a red holly berry in his mouth - to that will be a little color right there. It would be too similar in shape and size with his eyeball if I had that stand out with a color too....at least that's what I think anyway. I may even tone down on the blue in the wings....I want it to look as realistic as possible.
