Do not and I repeat do not EVER and I mean EVER EVER EVER take part in one of those!

Tattoo parties are against the law and tattoos done outside of a studio can never be 100% clean as the room in a party usually has people smoking or drinking as well as airborne pathogens that can cause infection or worse.

do yourself and the tattoo community a favor get your work done in a studio by licensed professionals so tattooing stays legal. it is people that do illegal house parties that take business away from the artists that struggle to make a living and it drives artists to have to drop prices and pretty much give ^^^^ away to make a living.

Do the right thing and get it done legally

Keith, this particular party had the participants make appointments at the studio.

:lol Sorry Keith. I got back at 4 a.m. !!!! :google:horror I just woke up. First let me say this....

OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting a tattoo on the ribs is so painful. :lol I made it all the way through and I sat incredibly still the whole time but there were points that I wanted to get up and say "^^^^ this, I'm out!" :lol Luckily my GF and my artist were there to keep me distracted at times. :D

I will recount the whole experience in a bit. I need to eat some breakfast now. :lol I do want to say though that last night I wore a shirt to bed and when I woke up my shirt had almost a perfect imprint of the tattoo showing through... it was awesome. :lol Took a while to get it to unstick in the shower as well.

Awesome! Pictures Pictures Pictures!

Glad you made it through this latest experience Rory! :rock :rock I was thinking about you yesterday......and the pain I knew you were going through. So glad you were able to sit through and get it all done.

I can't wait to see it either! :rock :D

Thanks guys. I did 3 hours on my ribs. IT was definitely not a picnic. :lol

I have been washing it with Dial anti-bacterial Gold soap and applying a very thin layer of ointment. It stings and hurts so bad. :lol

I still want to get my other side tattooed but I just cringe at the thought of going through another 3 hours or more again.:google:horror:lol

Ok I need a tattoo idea/opinion. Being of mixed heritage I wanted to get a tattoo that blended the 2 together. Like a Celtic symbol and an African Tribal piece. I was thinking a family crest type pattern A shield with a cross in the middle and a celtic lion on the top left and an african tribal mask on the bottom right. Something to that respect. Any ideas/opinions?

Look up Brass Monkey Studio's. Make an appointment with Frank. He will take down all of your ideas and come up with something cool.

Ok, so I just found the next piece I want. Now here's the problem, finding a decent artist and more importantly... FINDING THE MONEY!!! :naughty
