Marvel has a deal with Universal to have their characters used in their parks, which is why they are not persuing their own parks stateside.

I went to their Florida park for the millenium and bought a ton of merchandise. It bugs me to think about all the cool stuff I must have missed over the years.:crying

I miss the light-hearted demonisation of Necroposting provided by Deckadent Dave and the like.

Actually if you listen to Lauren Shuler Donner she swears a sequel to Norton's Hulk is in the works and will probably take off after THE AVENGERS although Norton himself isn't signed for anything past the first film.

i think alot of people would like to see another Hulk movie.
one of the reasons it didn't do very well at the box office imo, was that it came out at the same time as about 3 other heavy hitter movies and it got lost in the wave.

the next 2 years will be interesting!!!thanks for the great news mike!!!!
:clap:clap:clap

Funny that this thread got a necrobump just as the Marvel/Disney deal has closed. It's official - "All your Marvel are belong to Mouse".

Or it could have been a little better. I still haven't seen my ultimate Hulk in movieform

In other words, i still think the cgi suck bigtime

Yeah from my understanding Norton wasn't very happy with some things that went down with the Incredible Hulk. Wasn't he a producer and constantly went back and forth with the director??

i think Norton wanted and wants more control over the movie. imo they should give it to him, i think he's got what it takes and they'll get paid back greatly for it.

He is a control freak, its well documented that he wants complete control from the script to the editing booth. I don't know if he was a producer on The Incredible Hulk but the controversy was that Zak Penn's script wasn't up to his standards so he drastically rewrote parts of it. Due to the screenwriter's guild bylaws because the final draft was submitted before his tinkering when it went to premiere he wouldn't receive a writing credit which pissed him off. He also was upset that he wasn't allowed more time in the editing booth because he felt that the final draft of The Incredible Hulk needed more work than it had once released.

He did this whole thing with American History X and a couple of other films. He was quoted as saying he wouldn't do another Hulk unless he was given more access and control but has been pretty mum about it since release. There is supposedly a cameo rumored in both Iron Man 2 and Thor of Bruce Banner that up until about a couple of months back even IMDB was stating he'd be there but he hasn't confirmed or denied involvement and they have taken him off the pages so who knows if he is playing ball with them still.

Its a pity he does not just concentrate on acting which he is awesome at.
