Sorry, kids. No more PM requests. I knew that we couldn't post the image here, but I see now that Dave has also requested that we "help keep the image from propagating"...

The pool is a little bigger than it used to be, though. Maybe someone else will go swimming with you... :monkey3

I was not really asking for you to ignore that request but still thanks for showing me. :)

I'd love a 12" Don. The MacFarlane isn't bad, but I don't get the pose: when did Vito ever do that with his lapel?

I don't really see the appeal of doing a horse head custom as an accessory with Don Corleone since he was on the other side of the country from Woltz and Karthoum.

At that stage in his life Vito was far away from the brutality he was responsible for and I just don't think it would be an appropriate accessory (custom or otherwise) just like I always thought it was a bad idea when people would want Sideshow to do a gray alien to go with their "X-Files" figures.

Speaking of the horse head, the whole thing obviously happens off-screen but you get to assist Rocco Lampone with the dirty deed in "The Godfather: The Game". It's arguably the highlight of the game. If they ever get around to making a figure of Rocco then I could get behind the horse-head accessory. It might even be appropriate for a Tom Hagen figure. Even more obvious would be to include it with a Woltz figure but I can't see anyone doing that figure until the license has been thoroughly mined, unless maybe McFarlane did some sort of diorama-type thing, then it would probably be one of the first iconic moments to be made in such a way.

I wish somebody would go after the non-Brando characters and likenesses. It's a rich license.

Well, the thing is that the horse's head is something that people immediately associate with the Godfather as a movie, and I'm not sure who else would be appropriate to give it to. I'm guessing that this will not be a line of figures like Pirates of the Caribbean, but rather a one-shot like the Easy Rider Brando. But I could be wrong.

Well then you sir are too versed in the film than to have any fun. Severed heads are always fun and even better when its a super recognizable scene. You do not have to enjoy a severed horse head, but I for one will:lol

I sure hope you're wrong but I think you may be right. I mean, what is this now like the 3rd straight Brando figure? No sign of any other gangster related personalities.

The "tuck" is one of the most iconic moments of "The Silence of the Lambs" but that doesn't mean it's a detail that should be included on a Hannibal Lecter figure.

The "tuck" would be a entirely separate figure, not an accessory. The better analogy might that Hannibal Lecter shouldn't come with a "Benjamin Raspail Head" since he never even saw it as far as I can remember.

Better analogy than the "tuck".
