I don't know if anyone else would be interested, but...it is in the general area of the spaghetti western genre.
There is a list started for a Henry Fonda HS as Frank from "Once Upon A Time In The West", over at OSW:

Maybe even a Charles Bronson's "Harmonica" character too!
Sorry, I didn't mean to hi-jack this thread, but if you loved GBU then maybe you have the same affection for OUATITW.

Something I have never seen or never knew existed.

A Custom Clint Eastwood hat, holster and steer head set.

https://cgi.ebay.com/CUSTOM-CLINT-E...39:1|66:2|65:12|240:1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Does anyone know about these sets? Are there more in the series? Why in the world would you include a steer skull?

Anyway, something interesting always show up on eBay.

Does anyone know how we are doing on the shirts and poncho/vest sets?

It's been a while since I posted in this thread (sorry guys), but I'll make up for it with some pictures of my Blondie WIP:

He's not anywhere near ready of course, but it's just a taste of things to come :D

Lord V, thanks for posting your photos! You're an inspiration to us all! Especially to ones who are trying to get their "Blondie"s going!

I haven't seen one of Lonnie's head cast in the flesh tone. It looks really good, even without paint.

Is that one of Bernard2002 ponchos? Very nice. Nice work on the vest as well. What did you use for your material?

I am looking forward to your finished figure! Working on any other GBU figures?

Thank you MwNN for the kind words! Yep, that's a Lonnie head cast in a flesh tone. I wanted to try how one of these heads would look like when painted for some time now, so I decided to do it with Blondie's.

About the vest and poncho; yep they are both Bernard2002's. I won them from an Ebay auction some time ago. I still need to futz (is that how you write it?:D)them a bit, but I wanted to show the great quality of Bernard's work.

And I am planning to make the Bad and the Ugly as well... some day

Fantastic start! Also an inspiration to the rest of us. I am trying to do the same but one thing I am really struggling with is the trousers. I cannot find anything navy blue unless it jeans material. What are yours made of and where did you source them?

I found mine on Ebay from a Dragon figure called 'Bill Smith' (he's a polilce officer or something). I only needed to remove the big pockets on both sides, that's all.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to show some pics of a mock up shirt.
No detailing has been done and the shirt is not fitted correctly, I only wanted to show you what the pinstriping looks like somewhat put together.
You'll have to let me know how much detailing this one will need to be such as front pockets, Western style back yoke, sleeve cuffs that snap, etc.
For now, let me know how the striping looks. Color can be lightenend or darkend.

They look awesome BillyB!

Here's what I found from hollywoodprop.com ref pic. They say he used a railroad shirt. I really don't know what style of pockets or back yoke the shirt has, but it probably didn't have a button-down collar. I haven't looked recently, but I think you see more of Blondie without his poncho in "For Few Dollars More" to get a better and more accurate reference of his shirt. The poster just has a close-up of his shirt. In the reference photos at the beginning of the thread show Blondie's shirt. Maybe the stripes can go a tad lighter IMO, just so they don't blend into an overall dark blue hue.
The last is from FFDM & not a great ref pic but at least his poncho is off.
I would maybe say, have a button on his sleeve cuff but it doesn't have to close. Blondie never buttoned his cuffs.

I think the shirts are off to a fantastic start. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Agreed - it looks like a great start. :joy I think one pocket and I agree about the cuffs (a button, but no snap to leave them open).:D I think the collar on the mock up is too big however.

Shouldn't be a problem to make the stripes a little lighter to make the overall tone lighter. I'll try to check out FFDM or look for more images for better references. My take on it, is that if most of the shirt is covered, there really isn't a need for pockets or the yoke on the back, but it's up to everyone here on how they want it. Could work on an individual basis but it may increase the price for each one depending on additional detailing. Button detailing will already be added in.
If everyone likes the open cuff idea, I can leave off the snaps and take the shirt sleeve in a little for a better fit.
Collar can also be taken in with no problem.

Cool BillyB, if you don't see it, do we really need it? It works for me.
Although, if he didn't have a shirt pocket, where did he stash his cigars? Jus' kiddin', no pockets are fine by me & if everyone wants a pocket, that's fine too.
Thanks again BillyB for asking for input and actually making a custom Blondie shirt. You can't get better than that!

BiilyB, I can't wait for the finished product. It's going to be great. I am happy to go with no pockets. Thanks again BillyB for asking for input and actually making a custom Blondie shirt. I agree that you can't get better than that.:banana

Hey guys! Sorry, I've also been absent for awhile, but great to see things are really moving along. Excellent work on the shirt BillyB, and I'm really looking forward to seeing it finished! (I'm kind of a detail freak and would probably want to have that pocket, even thought it probably won't show most of the time). I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for the extra trimmins, but I'll wait to see how the finished shirt looks, minus the pocket. :D

JeffTVR: I did a some digging and found a little more info on the Dragon "Bill Smith" figure... He was No. 72001- NYPD E.S.U. Officer, and was released in a regular and a special "Millennium" edition. Hope this helps narrow the search a little.

Lord Vicious: Your Blondie WIP is outstanding!!! Can't wait to see some pics of him when he's finished! :rock

BillyB, here is a screen cap from "For A Few $ More". I guess Manco has two front shirt pockets. I want go with two pockets for accuracy's sake and will certainly pay more for the addition. As far as the yoke, whatever is the easiest. I definitely want two shirts from you with the possibility of getting a third. Thanks!
