Lonnie is a great guy to deal with. He and Jim Maddox are great 1/6 artists. His prices, you will not believe. But as far as updating his website--- not so good.
btw, if you don't know he makes two versions of each of the principles of GBU. Blondie, Tuco & Angel Eyes. Each comes in a version with a removeable hat and modified hair style and another version with full hair.

Got my poncho the other day and I have to say it's a huge improvement over my previous one! Color and fabric are perfect and it's much better to futz with and hangs beautifully! I love it! Here it is on my bashed Blondie with Rainman head sculpt! And many thanks to Armysoldier for hooking me up and pointing me in the right directions! I still need to work on my futzing on the poncho, but wanted to snap some quick pics to share! Love the bag of gold too!

That poncho makes all the difference in the world.

Yeah, Bernard2002 killed it with this version of Blondie's poncho! Again, I'm just so happy I got this! And since it's not a real Rainman set, I don't think I would mind weathering mine just a tad for some little bit of detail and realism. I think I still need to find a different belt for him, but the rest I'm very happy with! I even took your suggestion for the longer foot pegs and he looks much better with them in!

I agree on the weathering. I just got some weathering pastels (Earth Tones) and it looks great on the poncho. I used a blend of two. It gives it a very subtle weathered look. Thanks again!! Cheers!

Do you have some pics you can show of the weathering you did? I was thinking the same with some earth toned pastels that I have. I didn't want to go overboard, but at least wanted to put some dusting on the pants and boots, and a little bit on the poncho. I'd love to see what you did. I'm gonna have to pop in my Blurays and see what other details I might be able to add.

I missed out on Rainman's release a few years back and thought it was out of reach, but since putting this guy together, it seems a few have gone up for sale at decent prices. Anyhow, most of this I picked up from Armysoldier, the head I got on ebay and touched up a tad, added longer foot pegs and just got the new poncho from Bernard2002! I'll try to do some slight weathering on him and I'll call him just about done... Finally!

Thank you thank you! Did a little bit of light weathering/ dusting on him with some pastels. Not noticeable in the pics, but there's some in the hat, poncho, boots, and around the bottom of the pants. Again, nothing too obvious in the pics, but I like how it looks in hand. I was able to futz around with the new poncho and took a couple more straight forward pics in his classic look with poncho draped over his shoulders. Much easier to do with Bernard2002's new poncho!
