Fellow freaks,

I finally got the Sixicecubes Blondie and it is truly amazing. I paid an arm and a leg for it and as soon as I get a new camera , I will try to post some pictures.

Cheers

I have a Blondie shirt coming from Billy B, but it seems everyone else involved just dropped off the face of the earth. It sucks, because I really need a poncho.:monkey2

Freaks,

I am still very interested in the project as well but made the decision to purchase a few Custom Blondie from the Bay. I just took the plunge on another recent Blondie and that could be the other option to consider. But boy, the Blondie custom are expensive and a good one will cost you at least $300 ! Cheers

I hope this project keeps going! Luckily, Billy B was gracious enough to offer custom shirts to fellow freaks to keep our figures accurate. Hopefully, we will have other freaks help those of us who are artistically challenged. I love to get a vest & poncho set myself. I may have a line on getting some ponchos done, but not a clue on the vests. Bernard2002 had offered a vest and poncho set. Unfortunately, hurricane Ike wiped everything out, and devastated his area.

I just got a custom vest from Jimmy Meservey. He does really great work and recently joined the freaksboard. He's been a member of OSW under the name Hondo for awhile.

If we can get someone to do the ponchos, I think we're back in business.:chew

Are we supposed to contact Billy B. or is he going to contact us when he is ready to ship?

As long as there are still people interested, and it seems there still are quite a few of us, this project will indeed continue. Unfortunately I'm still without my primary computer, but I'm working on getting it back up and running as soon as possible. Until that happens I'm pretty much sidelined on this and every other project I was involved in. Anyway, life goes on... somehow.
:sancho

Hopefully things will pick up again before long and we'll be able to get the ponchos and vests many of us have signed up for. I also hope we can find somebody willing to tackle the job of offering complete custom figures for all the folks who have expressed interest, and hopefully be able to get some kind of group discount, too. Ideally, I see a complete figure going for somewhere in the neighborhood of $150-$200, depending on complexity and the amount of work involved. Otherwise, I'll most likely have to stick with building my own.

Hey UltramanAnimator,

I have dealt with Jimmy from OSW ( have a few of his dusters and am currently working with him on a few more ), he does very good work.
How do you like the vest? Can you share any pictures? He did the pants for litial.
What is his freaks user name?

He just shipped the stuff out to me this week. I'll post pics as soon as I receive the vest. He also made some dusters and chaps for some Open Range customs I'm working and they're some of the best 1/6 garments I've ever seen!

I like "Open Range" very much. In fact I was also thinking of trying to do a Costner and Duvall custom. I missed Lonnie's Hero Heads once a year auction of his Charlie head sculpt. I'll have to go with modifying a Costner resin head and get his hat from Stevo's. Love to see Jimmy's work on your "Range" customs when you have time to shoot some pics. Thanks!

Yep, I LOVE Open Range. I'm actually going to be doing the headsculpts myself!

After they're finished I'll be doing a Clint sculpt for the Blondie fig.

Since the topic came up I thought I would post my Costner figure. A quick pic of Costner and Tom Selleck from Quigley down under.
