I'm impressed with it and I'm a real picky so and so. I agree that there is something not quite right but overall its a very solid figure, one I'd be proud to have in my collection. I love Lalla's paint on this too. I only wish I could paint half as good as this.
Can anyone do a side by side with images of Clint so that we can see ? Definately going to have to get my butt in to gear to start on one.

I think I have figured out what is throwing the likeness off. The hair and beard need to be darker. The more I look at this the more I want one ! I've been rummaging through my parts box and I think I have a set of boots and dark blue jeans that will work ! Does Billyb still make the striped shirts ? I'd love one !
Lots of questions I know, but does anyone have any photographs of the type of boots Clint wore in the movie ? I can't put my hands on the dvd just now.

I bought two triad cowboy boots for updating my blondie. I think these and newline boots are the best options.
I hope it helps.

I dunno guys. I've been silently watching this thread but I had to comment on the amazingness of Rainman's Blondie. Blondie is on my top 5 most wanted list. I will not miss this offer. I see Clint perfectly? I think a lot of people tend to caracature him.

It's solid work, nice to see the cigarillo looking much better, but the hat and gun both appear too small. The vest could use minor tweaking. The spurs look good but I don't know if they are correct or not.

I do know the movie shirt should be light blue stripes not solid light blue.

I'm getting so confused since it's been so long since i've seen these movies...

how different is Clint Eastwood's outfit in "For a Few Dollars More" to "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly?

Hi Reinhardt, I know the leather arm band Clint has on his right hand and is on Rainman's figure is from "A Few Dollars More" and he is called Manco. Basically he has the same iconic costume in all three. In "The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly" he starts off wearing a wide slouch hat and knee length tan duster with his boots outside his pants. Blondie and Tuco change into Conferderate uniforms, get caught and are sent to a prison camp where they meet Angel Eyes and he gives him a change of clothes, and I think he gets his lambskin vest back at that point. He doesn't find his poncho until 3/4 of the way through GBU after they blow-up the bridge and find the wounded Rebel soldier where he covers him with his duster and takes the poncho. He wears the light blue striped shirt in all three pictures.

Thanks man. Yeah, i remember him getting the poncho near the end of the movie, when he lights his cigar off the dead soldier. It was such a great moment to happen so late in the movie since you knew that everyone was waiting for him to don the famous poncho.

ok, so it's good to know that his look is very similar in all 3. I'm mainly asking since i'm not sure if i'll be able to afford 2 Clint's!

Hi friend,

Hmm.. .so you think it might be a continuity mistake and he switches shirts he's wearing during the same scene? Or do the tiny stripes blend together due to distance from the camera and film grain? Obviously, the closer you get, the more detail you can see. It's an easy mistake to make as the shirt does appear solid much of the time, but all the closeups and posters show the stripes.

It would also be nice to have the detailed, decorative stitching on his gunbelt. But I'm just being picky about accuracy. :)

Rainman is quite talented and obviously prides himself on accuracy, it's just a shame that he missed some of these tiny details. I don't know if it's too late to inform him and fix it or not? Regardless, the figure is very well made and the poncho really helps the look. Another fantastic figure from Rainman.

Also, zuno, I haven't heard back from you about the shipping status of my Van Cleef head and clothing set.
