260 USD???? just for the clothing?
Well I do not pay that even for a suit for me, imaging for dressing a piece of plastic. Well I think it´s excessive price.

260?? Talking in euros that´s about 207 euros + shipping charges? Well,if that´s the final cost I will feel happy for all the people that will have the chance to purchase one, but if I pay that for a figure..my girlfriend kills me. ;)

I´m sure to custom the fantastic clothing must be very difficult but, bouff, at least 100 usd less would had been a better price. Hot toys do not takes you 260USD for a joker figure with all the clothes and all the complements.
:(

yes the price is steep - and I'll let zuno speak more to it, but you have to remember that this is not some big operation here. Hot Toys also sells 3-4000 of their figure to justify the price they sell them at. I highly doubt that more than 200 of these figs will get made.

ofcourse, if it was cheaper, i would be ok with that. :)

I'm totally interested in a poncho, if you're still taking down names. Also, since Lonnie isn't offering the Blondie head anymore, is anyone else working on one? I'm thinking about taking a whack at it myself in the next couple days, but I'm kinda rusty. We'll see.

Yes I understand all the reasons for pricing the figure just like that but people like me, very prepared to buy many different things like clothing, like heads like, you know..almost everything, take one step back with those not affordable prices, is my case.
Well, I suppose I will miss Mortimer figure, but simply the cloting 260 USD + shipping charges?...it´s too expensive. If you tell me 260USD for the complete figure..it´s expensive but it´s more reasonable, but for the clothing??
Well, it´s just an oppinion.
Thank you all

i could never afford a figure this expensive, but i appreciate why it costs this much. sometimes its hard when you can't afford something. but this isn't a mass produced hot toys item. this is one guy doing this - its a work of art, not a product. you could never get tailoring of that quality on a mass produced item. the price is fully justified. it sucks i can't buy it, but i'm not complaining either. this piece is for serious collectors.

Thanks litial and Reinhardt,

For the clothing full set 50 will be made.
And the clothing full set + the head sculpt set only 30 will be made.
We didn't announce these as limited editions because we thought at least 20 or below is limited edition.
Now, they will be limited editions, too.

Thanks,

My server's co-location provider / datacenter is currently experiencing a power related failure. They are working to resolve the issue... :horse:emperor

Amazing work! I'll have to sell some of my collection to raise money for this one.

Unfinished Clint´s Poncho in advance

Hello guys I think I have got it.

In a short period of time I will post a tutorial for making this pocho (it´s unfinised now) If you want the canvas I´m using for making this, just send me a mail with yours and I will send it to you.

If some body have a better idea to custom a poncho, please share it to learn another way to have a great poncho.

I want to thank to MwNN, his great work help me to make this one, actually I just touched the meassurement and resized the drawing, his first job it´s simply invaluable, I want also thank to my girlfriend who makes this working with ilustrator and to my mother who sewn the fringes, (yes, I´ know I´m not in the ceremony of the Oscar Academy Award, ;) ).

I´m making a new one with the fringes more separated (I will cut these also just a few, I need to resize them).

I hope it helps, wait your opinion.
Have a great day all.

I know everyone seems to love the gun rigs from Stevo's Toys, which look amazing, but how are the hats? Am I better off just sculpting my own and casting it in resin or something else? I'm worried about buying one and having it look too big and awkward.

I like Stevo´s hats. This figure has a Stevo´s hat. I bough him a Henrry Jone´s hat too and it´s simply amazing.

Nice, I'll probably pick one up then. I just don't want the overall silhouette of the figure to be compromised.

Any poncho news yet? I think MwNN was working on one, just wondering how it's coming. Is anyone still working on the vests, too?
