Just out of curiosity are you guys really that psyched for this figure knowing that you probably wont ever get a Green Hornet?

The Green Hornet was the side kick wasn't he? Batman is okay without Robin and Kato will be just as alright without the Green Hornet. Easy enough to bash a Green Hornet together out of the old Ideal Captain Action costume set. They sure made good costumes in those days, and the Green Hornet set, also made by Playing Mantis, are about the easiest and cheapest sets to obtain.

When it comes to Bruce, you don't need any of the other guys from his films. Sure they'd be nice, but not necessarily necessary.

I could care less about a green hornet. we all know that Kato was the star of that show.

I think it's just a Bruce Lee thing. The Hornet is insignificant to Bruce Lee fans, so long as they get Kato.

To Bruce fans The Green Hornet may have been a sidekick, but in the Green Hornet show Kato was nothing more than the Green Hornet's "Manservent". It is called "The green hornet" afterall.

Afterall the 60's Batman TV show wasn't called "Robin" :)

But BL continues to become a legend, an iconic figure. While the green hornet sort of died a slow death.

the irony of it:lol

From Enterbay blog. . .

Bruce Lee the most esteemed martial artists of all time had an evolutionary approach to innovation. He was determined, purposeful and persistent in everything he did. Lee also had a strong sense of self, an ability to experiment, the skill to cross-fertilize ideas and courage to break the rules, challenge the accepted and achieve the impossible.

His influence on the world was not through the unfolding of some martial skills, but through Lee’s commitment to excellence that resulted in the creation of one of the greatest martial artist in modern history.

ENTERBAY will carry on the courageous spirit through our innovative Bruce Lee products and will continue to contribute and promote the lasting legacy of Bruce Lee.

Our next Bruce Lee line up featuring Bruce as “KATO” from “The Green Hornet” is undergoing the last stages of production and will be officially released in June 2009.

TRUTH...imo as well. nothing against the hornet. i thought he was/is cool but without kato/lee the show does nothing for me.

Pisses me off that this is yet another great BL figure I can ill afford. I suppose I can have them all if I sell off the better half of my collection. Oh well. I can admire from afar I guess.

So they are just gonna release Kato without the usual teaser, followed by proto pics, PO and waiting like 6 months thing?

AWESOME!

I'm glad that EB decides to pamper and spoils us with this pleasant surprise :D

I finally broke the $200 barrier, and put in a pre-order for Kato. Dangerous precedent. I gotta get out of this hobby before I'm living in a van down by the river. I've got to have at least one Enterbay Bruce in my collection though, right?

where are the pictures already?! i want my godfather pics while you're at it too! :lol
