Good examples. I'll see you one more though and say that the majority of these comic book movies that people deem so fantastic and "Epic" are in the same boat.

It's funny reading people blast this movie for following the same formula and then claim other movies that do the same thing to be top notch.

Person gets powers, person learns to use them. Oh no a bad guy! Person kills bad guy and saves the day. The end.

That goes for Predators too Celtic.

Hey, after two ____ty AvP movies, i'll take a decently made flick.

But Predators was not a copy. Similar, but not exact. It also had almost a 30 year gap from the first.....The Hangover 2 had only, what, a 2 year gap....?

Which made it really pointless. I do consider this the worst of the year. Mostly because the characters didnt change in any way from the last one. There was change at the start, but once Alan ____ed everyone over again, that kind of went out the window.

That's why I hated it. If I see a sequel, and the characters didnt change a single bit, it really is a pointless movie. Especially Alan.

LOL! That's all garbage. Honestly the AVP movies were more original than Predators. I enjoyed the first AVP far more than Predators to be honest. Who cares about a 30 gap either? It's still an almost exact replica of the first movie.

As for the characters not changing in Hangover? How often do you change from year to year? LOL! We all may change somewhat but at the end of the day we are still the same people.

saw this yesterday during the matinee, glad i only spent $4 to see this one as it certainly wasn't great and basically should of been added onto the end of the original and been a three hour movie imo.

it was ok, but nothing new from the first one. had a few good laughs though.

the monkey was the coolest thing in the movie.

Lol... that's so true. I enjoyed this movie, but it's nothing special. My boss saw this the other week, and kept picking on me because he hated it.
