I've had a SS Bespin Han sitting in the box forever. I've always hated the head so much I never displayed him, waiting to customize. I'm looking forward to the casting. Thanks Mando.

I think I'll be hitting the jacket (esp. those pockets) and shirt with a mini iron and perhaps some starch before I'm done.

I missed source for the new boots. What are people using to upgrade?

BTW - Does anyone need a mynock?

Was thinking the same thing last night. Also was thinking how much nicer the gunbelt on the HT Bespin Luke is than SS's. Hopefully we will get an HT Han sooner than later and I can upgrade.

I upgraded mine to a pair of "Dragon German WWII Tall narrow Officer's and NCO's boots" tha tI got from Monkey Depot. I think they look better than the SS boots (though they need a shine) but are still plastic. Couldn't find a pair of "leather" boots that I liked but will definitely upgrade if I do.

These are the boots I used... not in stock now, but you can probably track them down on eBay, or find a comparable pair.

The boots were from a 3R (who I think is run by DiD) figure- and on Toy Anxiety were listed as "Herbert Otto Gille: Tall Boots". They are out of them now, but I think they are the standard height boots for DiD figures. I had bought them for Jedi Luke, but they were too tall... although luckily pretty spot-on for Han.

Pix, just a NSTT. I'm sure the Headplay version would be fine too. (God, I love those at 23 bucks a pop.)

I use DID German riding boots on mine. I cut off the strap and then paint the silver on the heal black.

I changed mine to a TTL 1.0 tan body (couldn't find an affordable True Type). The SS outfit fits and looks a lot better on it than the Buck IMO and I was pleasantly surprised with the body itself.

How were the joints on the TTL... I've had a few and most of them have been very loose at the hips. Great price at $15 or so; but I found them incredibly frustrating to try and pose

No, DID are full on boots, so you'll need feet on the body you use.

They're my favorite though (in fact I should buy a couple pair for Piett and Praji). I use them whenever I'm upgrading one of my SW figures (Han, Yavin Luke, etc.), even used brown ones for Ben.

Haven't had any issues with the TTL so far, but maybe I got a good one...I don't know. Joints are all good and tight and the body is defintely easier to pose than the SS Buck.

They're just like a Narrow Shoudler True Type. Excellent quality. Piett might be better on a Slim though.

You're going to replace the Pro body one Piett? Seems like it works well enough for him... although he definitely needs a repaint. Sideshow really punted on that one
