Yeah just watched it too. I thought it was excellent for a fan film on a budget The best part of it is you can clearly see they care deeply aboput the source material.

Depending on what they include in the Hobbit movies in a couple of years, you could probably slip this film in just before FOTR quite nicely.

Been waiting for it for a long time and I saw it right away when it came out and i think it was amazing.

I can't believe it's fan made, looks awesome!

I was checking for Hobbit stuff and came across this short. I thought it was really great. the locations alone made it feel almost like the movie.
Is true that the actors were not amazing or anything but I really liked it. I thought it was really smart how they handled Gollum, since they couldn't do him properly I like that they use the sack and the trees to show him.

This was really great. I just came across it. I loved it.
